Armored Coat Question

Can the armored coat from the APG be mithrilized? I think the rule is you can't make anything out of mithril that isn't mostly metal, but it is a medium armor and the description says that it's full of metal plates.

I don't see why not. Most of the mass of the armor comes from its metal components.

And Hero Labs lets you do it.

Considering that studded leather can be made of mithril...I'm inclined to say yes.
