Hello,
It would seem that any possibility of my playing in any games at this point are null and void. So I decided to venture into world building. I plan to build a world both for future gaming (I hope), and as a backdrop fr writing as well. I am hoping to build a world as detailed as Golarion.
Although I am working on several aspects of the world I am hoping to get the major villains done early. Two of my most favorite monster/villains are the Goa'uld of Stargate and the Illithid. I am looking to make a race that is a psionic powerhouse based on some combination of the two races. I truly love the parasite/symbiote aspect of the Goa'uld and the sheer terror and psionic might of the Illithid. As well as the histories of both races.
I am hoping, and this is where I need as much help as I can get, that the two could be combined into a hybrid that gives the best and the worse of both. They would be the shadow that is behind almost all the evil of the world working at first from the background and then then finally bringing their long term plans to fruition.
Can anyone help me to find a way to get these two races together to form a bigger, badder and better race for all to fear?
