Sorcerer activating a scroll written by Wizard

Rules Questions

Can a sorcerer with an INT of 12, but a CHR of 18, use a scroll of Teleporation (SL 5) written by a wizard?

The prereqs include having the spell in the spell list, must be the right type of magic (arcane), and have the requisite ability score.

Does the 18 CHR of a sorcerer satisfy the "requisite ability score" to cast (activate) a 5th level scroll written by a wizard, which would require a 15 INT?

Yes.

The only distinction made for purposes of spell completion items is whether the creator of the item was a divine caster or an arcane caster. It doesn't matter what KIND of arcane caster he was, just that he was using arcane techniques to scribe the scroll. Any arcane user theoretically capable of casting the spell on the scroll can use it, no problem.

Thought so, the only question I have to taht is if I were to sell the scroll...how much would it be worth? Half of 1125 or 1250?

That is the inner dialogue that prompted the original question. Because there is a distinction between the price I thought there might be a distinction in who crafted the scroll.

Market Value is 25*spell level* caster level. The caster level is determined by the guy who made the scroll. He might have made it at 9th, 10th, 18th... Is up to him based on his options. Sale is 1/2 of Market Value.

If made at CL9, scroll of teleportation would be market value: 25*5*9=1125gp. If made at CL10, 1250.

Sorcs don't get 5th level spells until level 10. I think that is why there was the question of cost.

Yeah, I understand that's where he was coming from. To be clear to OP: the value is based on the CL at which the scroll was created. It is not dependent on the CL of the guy who has it in his hands and wants to do something with it.

The minimum price for a scroll of teleport, scribed by a sorcerer, would be 1250, but that has no impact on a wizard scroll.

Also, a 9th level sorcerer can still use a 9th level wizard teleport scroll without trouble (as long as he has a 15 charisma).
