I've added a new store, Galactic Quest Comics & Games, to our network of PFS locations for metro Atlanta. The event is scehduled for Oct 9. As always, when I enter it into the events, it doesn't show up when I search through Find an Event link. Zip code is 30045.

Thanks.

Added a second new store, Giga-Bites Cafe, zipcode 30062. Oct 9 game day and it is also not showing up on Find an event.

Giga-Bites cafe is now showing up when I search.

Galactic Quest Games is still not showing up.

Galatic Quest is now appearing in the search results. Can I ask what is happening with the Latitude and Longitude fields when you create these events?

If you mean do the Lat and Long auto-fill, no they don't. I never enter anything in them because I don't have a sextant. That may be the problem with them not showing up :)

I believe sextants are in the Guide as required for GMs. ;-)

I was in the Coast Guard 11 years. I think I still have one in the basement from my time at the Coast Guard Academy.

I'll go ahead and volunteer to give a class at Paizocon for all GMs since it is now "officially" a requirement. It also applies to all Paizo Staff. No worries though. It should only take about 8 hours to properly teach how to use it and plot a course based on your findings.

I was trained extensively in land nav in the Army, so I think I'll also make land nav a required course for GMs before they're allowed to determine north on a Society map.

The Air Force trained me in Google Map.. Is that acceptable?

Let me guess....Walk until you find a road. Then you aren't lost anymore?

ahhh, brings back fond memories of being lost in the woods at Fort Campbell, KY and everyone arguing how to read the topography of the map
