Can a cleric take the "Spell Focus" feat?

Rules Questions

Liberty's Edge

I would like to have augmented summoning, for which spell focus is needed. Can a cleric do that? The feat description does not say "no", but schools of magic really don't apply to divine spells.

Cleric spells have schools just like wizard spells. There are just no school specialists in divine magic.

But to answer your question: Sure, every spellcaster can take any spellfocus and Augment Summoning.

Clerics? Hell, Fighters can take Spell Focus and Augment Summoning. They don't provide any benefit to a straight-classed Fighter, but the Fighter can still take both feats.

Meh, I was too lazy to check if Spell Focus had any requirements like "Ability to cast spells" or something. ^^

But you're right, EVERYONE can take Spell Focus and Augment Summoning.
