Can a druid with the Natural Spell feat who has assumed the form of an Air Elemental and is currently using the Whirlwind special ability, cast spells?

There's nothing in the whirlwind ability that precludes spellcasting, so a druid with Natural Spell certainly could cast spells while whirlwinding.
