Was converting a dreadguard (MM 2 3.5) to pathfinder when a couple questions came to my mind.
Dreadguards are construct so following the convertion rules they now should have a BaB equal to their hit dice and a bonus of +2 to CMB/CMD.
So far its an easy thing but here is where i'm not sure.
#1 Construct of medium size get a +20 HP bonus. Was it included in the original 3.5 version? At 27 hp i hope not!
#2 Pathfinder monster manual says that monster of 5 HD should have 3 feats but dreadguard dont have any. And if i give them 3 feat are they gonna be too strong for a CR of 2?
From memory...
original DG are CR2/ 27 hp/ BaB +3/ 0 feats
Pathfinder ones would be CR2/ hp 47/ BaB +5/ CMB +8/ CMD 18/ 3 feats
Anything i'm missing?

There is nothing wrong with possibly bumping them up a CR. I think i read some place if a critter has not INT all it can get is bonus feats. Also its ok if you weaken a critter in other areas to make up for power spikes.

If you want to convert, but keep the same CR as the original, start with the Monster Statistics by CR table and plan from there. For example, a CR 2 creature should have about 20 hit points. If hit points are higher, then lower other categories. Et cetera.
