Ranged attack while mounted

Rules Questions

i have a question, if I'm mounted and my mount makes a normal move action do I get a penalty on shooting? I'm not using full atack and my mount is not using double move action

I believe that's counted as simply attacking before/after a move, so no i don't think so, though you might get the "you're mounted" negatives to shooting.

Only has penalties if your mount takes a double move or greater. Attack occurs half way through the move.

Core rulebook pg 202:

You can use ranged weapons while your mount is taking a
double move, but at a –4 penalty on the attack roll. You can
use ranged weapons while your mount is running (quadruple
speed) at a –8 penalty. In either case, you make the attack roll
when your mount has completed half its movement. You can
make a full attack with a ranged weapon while your mount is
moving. Likewise, you can take move actions normally.

And you can take the Mounted Archery feat to halve the penalties.

tnx guys =)
