I think I am doing the calculations for some darkwood armor correctly but it seems a little off so if someone could verify this I would be thankful.
A Chain shirt is 100 gd
Mastercraft is 150 gd
Darkwood is 10 gd per pound
Since it is for a gnome the weight is 13 pounds (25/2 round up)
So, the total is 380 gd for a Mastercraft Darkwood Chain Shirt with these specs:
Armor bonus +4
Max Dex +4
Armor Check Penalty 0
Spell Failure 20%
Speed 30/20 ft
Weight 7 pounds
For some reason this seems low cost and higher specs then it should but I could be right. If it is then I don't know why everyone isn't using darkwood. Thanks in advance.

"Items not normally made of wood or only partially of wood (such as a battleaxe or a mace) either cannot be made from darkwood or do not gain any special benefit from being made of darkwood."
No Darkwood Chain Shirt for you. Darkwood wooden shield, yes. Darkwood longbow, yes. Anything normally made from metal, no.
