A few posts below mine is a thread asking if the APG will include the errata reprint. Given that every other product has included errata, my question is simply when should I anticipate being able to purchase an updated reprint of the APG? I was unable to purchase the book when it was released for financial reason, given that I've waited this long I figure I might as well hold out until I can get a revised copy.
Thanks in advance.

They do reprints whenever the previous edition is sold out so depending on how well the APG sells it might be 6 months, it might be a year.
PS: Neither of these are official numbers.

Correct. It takes about 3 to 4 months once we pull the trigger on a reprint. We do that when we are close to selling out. However, we printed quite a bit of the APG so that we wouldn't sell out soon. As of right now, we haven't ordered a reprint. That could change in a day or in a month or two. All depends on sales of the original print run. So I can't give you a definitive answer because of that.

The only problem with waiting for the reprint is if the idea gains too much momentum then it delays the reprint. That and you are missing out on some good game content in the mean time :D
It is a Catch-22. I've often thought that I'll wait and buy only 2nd or greater printings of Pathfinder RPG books. Then as you point out, if everyone did that then Paizo would fold or just release 1st printings AS 2nd printings, then of course we would all be hanging out for the 3rd printing. AAAAARRRRHHHHHH!!!!
To save staying awake nights I now buy the book as it comes out and gift it to someone when I've purchased a later printing. I guess that means I'll be in line for some of those virgins in the afterlife?

It will depend where you are, of course, however where I live there is a very strong secondhand market for Pathfinder hardcovers providing another strategy. I can usually recoup 50%-75% if I keep the book in good condition, so then it's only a 'rental' on the first edition (and not that much if you factor in the subscriber discounts). Probably won't get me into Paizo-Paradise, but I both get the books early plus get an updated/errata-ed printing once they're available.

Of course you are still in line for some, prorata. You're still providing Paizo with a reason to keep doing the job they are. Moan about printings as much as we like - Paizo makes beautiful product.
so 40 times 25%-50% = 10-20 virgins. Still nothing to sneeze at - well unless that's your thing ;)
At my age I'm thinking 40 will probably kill me, so I guess it's lucky I'll be dead already?! In fact I'll gift you 10 of my virgins!
