Good question.
If you can find a way to cast it while Nauseated, it should remove the condition. The problem is, you can't cast it (or anything else) when you're nauseated.
I suppose you could have a Contingency put on you so that this spell goes off if you ever become Nauseated. I don't imagine anyone ever would unless they knew for sure they were entering a fight with something nauseous.
Maybe you could un-nauseate your familiar by casting it yourself and "sharing" the spell with him.
Grapsing at straws here.
Basically, it looks like there is no "mistake" here. The spell will cure Nausea, but it's very unlikely that you can find a way to cast it while you're nauseated.
Me, I'm a nice guy. Sometimes. So I would probably houserule this to be an exception to the "no-casting" effect of the Nauseated condition. In other words, when you're Nauseated, you cannot concentrate on casting any spell except Cleanse.
I'm still not sure any of my players would be likely to prepare it even with this modest enhancement - unless they knew they would face something that causes a lot of Nausea.
