UMD with personal spells

Can you use UMD on a scroll of shield, mirror image etc?

Doesn't the personal bit mean the creator of the scroll?

No the personal bit means the reader of the scroll.

Now this is different from potions, and why you cannot have potions of personal spells as the potion is considered the caster..

BTW UMD doesn't figure into this in any way.

Or trigger it normally if you have it on one of your class' spell-list(s).
