Personally, I like the name Magus, but onto something I'm hoping they add.

Chronomancy/Time Magic! I know it's hard to deal with sometimes, but I was quite surprised that there was no subdomain/focused school called Time. Maybe an Oracle Foci? Something hopefully.

Has anyone else been hoping for this kind of thing?

Still, one heck of a book the APG... :)

You should definitely check out Super Genius Games Guide to the Time Thief then. :)

I'd like to see Chronomancy, Wild Magic, and, of course, my beloved spell templates in this book myself.

Thanks! I'll check it out for sure.

Yeah... Wild Magic is another great idea. I love how a lot of older concepts are coming full circle with Pathfinder... :)

Liberty's Edge

I would like to see many new metamagic talents, including a few ones designed with the bard, inquisitor, paladin or ranger in mind.

But most of all, I really do not want to see the corresponding metamagic rods. I find that the mere existence of metamagic rods trivializes metamagic talents.
Not too many talents can be substituted by a magic item after all (and actually in this case having the rods is often better than having the talent itself, since they do not increase the spell level, and the wizard can apply the talent on the spot).

Oh, and I would also like to see plenty of art featuring Feiya! She's hot! ;)

I would love to see the concept of reserve feats brought back. WOTC introduced them just before they ended 3.5. I've played characters with them and really liked the versatility, even if at times other feats would have helped me more.

Paizo might have to give them a new name, but I'd still like to see them.

I'd love to see a more workable and flavourful system for counterspelling.

For Timemagic, if could also check out AEG - Magic, it has rules, spells, feats an a class for Chronomancy. Made for 3.0, and not necessarly balanced ^^

But Chronomancy is a great Idea, just as Wild Magic.
I would like to see some "weakness for Power" like Wild Magic had sometimes. So a faster spell progression, but possibly fatal consequences for oneself.

Technomancy would be cool, but the core-world is probably not advanced enough for that.
And I would really like to see some more Shadow spells. And Classes/PrestigeCL to enhance them.

And last, but not least, some artwork featerung spells, that are hard to imagine how they would look.

While the current choices for summon swarm are ok, I would like to see an update to the choices of swarms I can call up with summon swarm. Increase the list of summonable swarms to all swarms of CR 2 or less. (I already house rule this.) Then have a spell called summon swarm, improved. Granting the ability to summon swarms of higher CR which can be based on caster level.

And bring back the goats and pigs! And give us some fox-sized foxes.

Dark Archive

Request
Melf Minute meteor (or arcane version of produce flame for other classes)
Decastave (or arcane or divine version of flame blade)

Suggestions
Sea Dome (25ft + 5ft/2lvl all directions, underwater rules apply, water & air breathing creatures breath normally)

Reenactment (works like speak with dead but displays to the caster a memory of the dead)

Feat
Combat spell slinger
Prerequisite BAB +6
A single target spell, single bolt or ray, which uses an attack roll, is now an attack option as opposed to a standard action

Expanded Spell Knowledge
Prerequisite: Spellcraft 5 ranks, see special
Prepare or know a spell from another class up to 3rd level in place of a spell of the same level you could normally cast
Special
Bard spell (perform 5 ranks); Cleric, Paladin, Oracle spell (religion 5 ranks); Wizard, sorcerer spell (Kn Arcana 5 ranks); Druid, Ranger, Witch spell (Kn Nature 5 ranks)

Spell charging
Use a full round action a caster can charge spell he is currently casting delaying it to add levels to the spell for metamagic feats, requires a concentration check (DC 10 + complete spell + # of rounds charging) a caster can decide how many rounds he wishes to charge during the charge but if a caster triggers the spell the only the charging rounds are used for metamagic level adjustments. A caster can charge taking the spell past his casting ability but the DC raises +5 each level past casting ability.
User must have the used metamagic feat or a metamagic rod with the feat being used

Metamagic Mastery
Prerequisite: 5 Metamagic feats
You now know all of the Metamagic feats

I would love to see some sorcerer bloodline feats that would grant special abilities(darkvision, spell-like, etc.) or that add non wizard spells to there class list(such as celestial bloodline getting holysmite, holy aura, etc.) Alternate special abilities for Sorcerers so if you don't want draconic claws or fey woodlandstride you replace with ability x. Oracles could options to add not standard cleric spells to go with there "theme" such as elemental spells from druid or wizard list added to there spell list they the same elemental type.
