Hello, I have a quick question. I keep seeing people reference the errata to elven curve blade no longer being finessable. I am unable to find this reference. Can someone direct me to the document that features that information?
I would like to see that as well, since I just checked the errata for the main book and there is nothing about the curve blade listed.
The Core Rulebook shows:
Curve Blade, Elven: Essentially a longer version of a scimitar, but with a thinner blade, the elven curve blade is exceptionally rare. You receive a +2 circumstance bonus to your Combat Maneuver Defense whenever a foe attempts to sunder your elven curve blade due to its flexible metal.
You can use the Weapon Finesse feat to apply your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier to attack rolls with an elven curve blade sized for you, even though it isn’t a light weapon.

I have a question relating to it, if it is finessable, and since it's not a light weapon, can you finesse and power attack it?
I'm pretty sure you can AND you can wield it two handed, finesse, and power attack. The Aldori dueling sword is similar in that aspect. Kinda interested to see what others think here.

From the PRD (emphasis mine):
Weapon Finesse (Combat)You are trained in using your agility in melee combat, as opposed to brute strength.
Benefit: With a light weapon, rapier, whip, or spiked chain made for a creature of your size category, you may use your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier on attack rolls. If you carry a shield, its armor check penalty applies to your attack rolls.
Special: Natural weapons are considered light weapons.
Even though it's not explicitly forbidden, I would say the intent is clear, weapon finesse and power attack are mutually exclusive.

I understand normally you can't power attack weapons you can use weapon finesse with, if I'm remembering the core rule book correctly you can't power attack with a light weapon. The only reason I was unsure about the Elven Curve Blade, is because it's not expressly defined as a "light weapon" it just has the stipulation of being able to have weapon finesse with it.
However, if people agree it can't be used with Power Attack, I will defer to the mass judgement.
Either way, it's still a rockin weapon.

Power Attack (Combat)
You can make exceptionally deadly melee attacks by sacrificing accuracy for strength.Prerequisites: Str 13, base attack bonus +1.
Benefit: You can choose to take a –1 penalty on all melee attack rolls and combat maneuver checks to gain a +2 bonus on all melee damage rolls. This bonus to damage is increased by half (+50%) if you are making an attack with a two-handed weapon, a one handed weapon using two hands, or a primary natural weapon that adds 1-1/2 times your Strength modifier on damage rolls. This bonus to damage is halved (–50%) if you are making an attack with an off-hand weapon or secondary natural weapon. When your base attack bonus reaches +4, and every 4 points thereafter, the penalty increases by –1 and the bonus to damage increases by +2. You must choose to use this feat before making an attack roll, and its effects last until your next turn. The bonus damage does not apply to touch attacks or effects that do not deal hit point damage.
If you read this carefully, you will see that Power Attack can be used
with any melee weapon in Pathfinder.| MysticNumber ServitorOfAsmodeus |

Where does it say you cannot Power Attack while using Weapon Finesse?

There's nothing in the rules that says you can't use Weapon Finesse and Power Attack at the same time, so you can. The way I think of it is the light, nimble fencer who dances into his opponent's guard and then lunges with all his might. (Watch some Revolutionary Girl Utena for exactly what I'm talking about--Jury's fighting style in particular.) In fact, in my current Ravenloft game, there's a character who explicitly uses this as his fighting style.
