The general question: can a player make an unarmed strike while holding a touch spell, and gain the effects of both the spell and the unarmed strike damage?
The specific question: I have a Druid player in my game with the Plant Domain. She wanted to cast Produce Flame, and then use her Wooden Fists to attack an enemy, dealing both the fire damage from the spell and the unarmed strike damage from her attack.
My initial ruling (following the guideline of "say YES" to your players, unless there's a good reason not to) was that she could do so, but she'd have to hit the enemy's actual AC, rather than his touch AC. However, I'm wondering what the "correct" interpretation of this situation would be.
Thanks in advance for your advice!

That is how I would do it also.
