Extracts are an Alchemical item.

Swift Alchemy reduces alchemical item creation by 1/2.

Does it take 5 rounds to prepare an Extract once you have this class feature instead of the normal 1 minute (10 rounds)?

With Instant Alchemy can you now leave a empty Extract slot and create an Extract as a full-round action and drink it the next round?

extracts don't use the alchemical craft skill to make them so no

Exactly. Those abilities effect anything the alchemist specifically needs to make a craft(alchemy) check to make.

Hello, I have ran into this issue recently in my campaign.

In the alchemist's class description, extracts are included in the Alchemy class feature. They do seem to be alchemical items regardless of using the craft (alchemy) skill or not.

Swift Alchemy sounds like it is meant to speed up the elements included in the alchemy class feature (including extracts and mutagens).
