3.x to pathfinder easy conversion?

In the game mastery guide on p.51 there is 3 "easy" way to convert 3.x monsters to pathfinder.

The "-1 CR to all monsters" or the "+2 to everything" seems fine for a one night event with friends that just drooped by but is it really good thoughout a whole campaing that last for months/years?

It really depends on your play style. When I was running Second Darkness I did full conversions, which was made really easy since a lot of the guys being fought were generics in the front of the book.

The "easy" conversion IMO is really mostly for those off the cuff style campaigns, or if you just wanna add something quick.
