Can I make off-hand attacks with my shield pikes on my armor while holding a Tower Shield?

There was another thread on this a while back. I dont remember the answer. You might want to do a search.

The only one I remember was someone wanting to two weapon fight using a great axe and armor spike, I don't know if there was an official answer, and a lot of people thought it would be weird, but possible. You might be able to do what you want, but try to imagine your character doing it.

Via the 3.5 faq you could. I lot of people oppose it on the boards. And there are several lengthy threads. Generally about wielding a weapon two handed + armor spikes, but the principle is the same you wanted to use both hands for something and get the extra attack.

The general consensus in D&D was that it was doable, but most people didn't like it. Strictly by the numbers it wasn't very efficient either, considering the amount of feats and additional dexterity requirements.

Its not a big deal, in the end. Maybe if you had higher than usual ability scores and didn't take all of the TWF feats it could be somewhat usable with Pathfinders power attack change, but there are better options out there.

Now, if you had a pole arm or a longbow, things would be quite different.
