Just finished GMing my first Pathfinder session. I'm running a homebrew campaign with my three daughters (age 11, 9, and 6) and some of their friends. I had been using the d20 system for the past few adventures, but I broke down and bought the PF Core Rulebook and Bestiary this week. I thought it would be good for them to have books to thumb through.
I have no questions or anything, I just wanted to say I'm really happy with the quality of the materials. My kids are having a blast, and today was their friends' first RPG experience to boot. The boy (age 9) played a bard named Bubda whose Bardic Performance involves beatboxing. Good stuff. Too bad he he couldn't use it while he was busy throwing up his lunch due to a stinking cloud spell...and getting out of the cloud was no gimme either, what with the web spell right before it!
Good times.

The newest member of our group (mostly adults) had never played any RPGs before, but wanted a character who would play and sing. Obviously her character is a bard. She's really into the role playing, too. She is fluent in Japanese, and the Golarion equivalent of Japanese is the character's primary language. She (the bard) speaks Common only haltingly. Having the new (to us) language in the group makes the game more fun and challenging. The players are learning a few words of Japanese, so the characters can communicate a bit more effectively.
