I'm frightened that I like a lot of the same movies you like.

How could anyone not love Long Kiss Goodnight?
By not having seen it?
Nope. Even then you should love it. It's that awesome.

OK, now I gotta see it.

POST HERE, NOT IN SIX, DAMMIT PEOPLE!!!

Jyu1ch1: You're even more awesome tonight than normally.

I'm right here. Stop yelling.

Oh, sorry, Treppa. It seemed like no one was around.

I can honestly say that no one has ever called me that before.

Get all your sleep now. The 24 hours of sleep you get now will make up for the first, oh, 5 nights.

Neat! You can't copy anyone else word for word in a post.

Mostly because I ran around today doing a lot of finalizing for getting the boy home (see the new photo album on FB for some results). Got up early and did some cleaning up and organizing. Went to the hospital for a few hours. Left the hospital and went to Babies R Us to return some stuff and get more stuff. Stopped at Ikea to get a changing table/dresser. Came home. Went with the in-laws to dinner. Came home. Put the changing table together and finished up my work in the nursery. And here I am!

Treppa, I'm about to go Elijah all on your man.

And all without the help of my lazy ass in-laws. Although I've got to give my mother-in-law a tiny bit of credit - because she breast fed, she's been helpful to Sarah in that regard. My father-in-law - he's just a waste of space right now.

Aberzombie, it's "sewing", not "sowing", that you want to use. Two different things. :)

That is really helpful. Sometimes breast feeding is not as easy as it seems it should be.

I second the 'well done.' The pics look great!! :) But aren't you concerned about the abundance of monkeys? You know what they do with what they make, right? Think that's a good example for the spawn?

Yeah, it's been a little rough so far. Little turd keeps going into what we've come to call "boob coma". Latches on, sucks a bit, then - BAMM! - out like a light!

It pisses me off though, her doctor and the hospital go on and on about breast feeding, promoting the hell out of it, yet they don't have a lactation expert on staff at the hospital. WTF!?!

OK. That's kinda dumb. I'm sure some hospital bureaucrat thought he was saving some good money with that move. :S

Probably. But, there was this one nurse who was really helpful today. She spent 20 years as a pediatrics nurse, and has worked labor and delivery for a few years already. She seemed to know her stuff.

Went to dinner at Applebees tonight - Had their new Bourbon Street chicken and shrimp. Grilled and seasoned chick and shrimp, served with red potatoes and onions on a hot skillet. Pretty damn good. I hope they make it a regular menu item.
