Well, I didn't make it with the pole dancing, but what belongs together more than pie, blog, and flash dancing?

This 'related' video is kinda bad ass...

That is cool!

Koto is pretty cool to watch someone play - especially songs where they retune it in the middle! I had a friend in Japan that took traditional dancing lessons, and she had a friend on the koto and shakuhachi while she danced as a performance for my mother and aunt and me when they visited. It was very cool!

I'm mostly just trying to see if Freehold DM would actually die of jealousy...:P

I have a friend who travelled to Japan to study koto. It's a beautiful instrument.

Hi all. How's the day so far?

Just starting off, but seems like its going to be ok. Yours?
Not bad. I'm impatiently tracking the progress of my iPhone (FINALLY available for Verizon) across the country, and trying to figure out how I can be at home to sign for it one day this week. :P
You haz eyePhone? I wantz won 4 mine earz. Not mine eyez.
Phones are much cooler with video.:)
But I just want to talk on one. Not write notes, not "surf the web". Not unlock my car, Not take pictures, Not fix dinner, Not grate cheese, just talk..... can I have one that does that?

We have moved from cell phones to tricorders.

Ok. Give me a call when you have the date finalized and I will ask Karen if she objects to you crashing here for a few days.

I was just thinking of stopping by for a day, but I'll think about maybe spending the night (again, if that's alright with you and Karen (and the dog)). I certainly appreciate your offer.

Partly true. The tattooed chicks are indeed hot and numerous, but are usually not interested in men. You are also outnumbered by douchebaggy hipster guys that think they're god's gift to the universe. Your life is generally miserable.
That. Is. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not awesome, dude, not awesome. Especially if you're single. Lucky for us, we're not.

Yesterday: four hours of driving, got three hours of sleep, and had a pretty good-sized mental breakdown.

Today: insulted friends, punched a hole in the wall, smashed art supplies, forgot to eat, and watched Terry Gilliam's "Brazil."

I think my subconscious is trying to set me on fire.

Jeez, I know that feeling. My wisdom teeth cracked after they came in. After several tooth infections and lots and lots of pain, they're finally fallen out. It took a long time, months or possibly up two years now. I really wasn't counting, but it's been a long process. :(

I'll just be over here in the corner whimpering. I have such a horror if dentistry. And clowns. The scariest thing in the world to me would be a clown dentist. I don't know why that isn't the subject of every horror film ever made.

On a more serious note: I hope the dental hell is over for you soon.

My pick is 23 February 2012.
