Dude, you got major years off. I'm still counting!

EDIT: Well, maybe not creepy. I guess that depends on the person.

Actually, that makes a decent amount of sense to me!

I just wanted more of a feel for what the documentary is like. The only names (besides famous narrators) I recognize is Deepak Chopra. His interpretation of Joe Campbell doesn't sound attractive to me. But is there animated retellings of myth? That might be pretty cool.

I think there is a single story that flows around the various thoughts presented by the speakers.

Deepak Chopra is actually a count against this film, in my mind, but I thought it looked good even with him.

Nice.

Am I the only one who is a little creeped out, in a Jim Jones sort of way, by the esteemed me Deepak Chopra?

I think he's a creepy sell out new age hack. But as far as I can tell he's harmless.

New pictures up?

CrimJ, I think you're picking up on the anti-Deepak vibe. But I'd still give it chance, what with the narrators and the animation, given the subject.

I think it was from a time he was on Nightline. He just freaked me out.

He is a bit creepy, to be certain. I was never a fan. His books sold like wildfire when I worked at Media Play and I could never understand why. Of course, I could never understand the obsession with The Celestine Prophecy either. As you can tell, I worked at Media Play a long, long time ago. :)

I wonder how today will go. I have a few phone calls to the state board of ed and the county board of ed...plus one to our IEP team Psych. See if I can get someone with some sort of authority to back us up.

On the up side my boss is in Michigan for the week! :D

Oh well...time to run the girl to school.

ARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

I think I'm going crazy. I remember seeing a product advertised: interlocking pieces that could be drawn on with wet-erase markers. You could basically custom build your own map, kinda, by locking pieces together. Now I can't find them!

Were they on this website? Another site? Do they even exist? Has my mind finally shattered, causing my poor brain to see things that simply don't exist except in the fevered depths of my own fragile psyche?

Eh? I must have missed something, but I'm guessing this has something to do with why Moorluck wants to strangle a school.

Yeah, they've had an ongoing fight with the school regarding their oldest son. He has ADHD, and educators and administrators have no patience (ironic) for kids with ADHD.

I should have known! After all, how many dogs get shot, stabbed, burned, and poisoned, then die from an infected paper cut?

You might want to watch out for grassy knolls, gnolls, or holes, Tordek. I think the Illuminati wanted that information kept from the zombie...

Goooooooooooooooooooooooooood morning Fawlty HOuse!!!!

Okay, after a weird adventure with the wife last night that ended up with us getting Indian food for dinner and falling asleep on a strange bus route home(B103 from downtown brooklyn takes you through EVERY NEIGHBORHOOD!!!), the sun has risen on another day. I've got indian leftovers for lunch/breakfast/and perhaps dinner, as I have to work all day today. Not looking forward to that, especially since I have to make both meals AND run group today. Not fun. Still, my boss doesn't seem to be in, so who knows- maybe I'll actually get some work accomplished today.

The Darklight Sisterhood game is officially on for this Sunday. I have a few ideas put together, but I'm trying to get a few really good hooks in Katapesh so I'm ready for whatever the party does(or more accurately, doesn't do/decides to run from). I'm thinking that this will be an adventure filled with treasure if things go right, or at the very least it will be a set up to lots of blood and death as they plan a raid on a thinly-defended Pathfinder lodge. I've also got some L5R fan-work and of course F!TSoW stuff as distractionary tasks, so I'm thinking this Sunday is going to be epic provided I get everything done.

Also, ran into an old, halloween loving friend online today. Just chatted for a few moments, but she was ecstatic about my costume, even if she knows NOTHING about Left 4 Dead. I'm thinking about getting an airsoft pistol to complete the look, but they're illegal to buy in NY, so I'm thinking I'll order it online. Anyone know of any good(read: Cheap) companies?

That's about it for now, tho. Here's hoping everyone's day is better than my yesterday.
