How to get decent spell resistence for you wizard / sorc ?

Advice

Was after some advice on sources of spell resistance I could look at for a wizard. obviously the earlier gained the better.

best sources I've found thus far

abberant bloodline gained level 15 10+CL

Craft Staff feat 11th level
have a cleric in the party or find one in the world
craft a staff of spell resistance with another level 5 arcane spell on it

cast spell resistance at your CL for 12+CL and be able to recharge the staff each day with a level 5 spell slot.
downside requires feats cleric and money

there must be better ways out there ?

or should I just become better adept at using globes of invulnerability, spell turning, protection from spells etc

Grand Lodge

SR is a double edge swords. Friendly spells need to get past it which means if it´s useful, your allies will have issues buffing and healing you. It needs actions to keep it down. Globe spell, spell turning and what not are better options for protection from spells.
