Two Questions

Rules Questions

1. When tumbling through an opponent, if you fail the DC, does that stop you from moving thru your opponent or do you continue and just take the AOO? In 3.5 it states that you are prevented from moving thru but Pathfinder rules don't mention it either way. It just says they get an AOO.

2. In the Dragon disciple prestige class, as you go up in levels you gain arcane levels at different points. As a sorcerer, do you get the bonus spells they grant you in the draconic bloodline as you go up in this PC?

1) Failing a "tumble" through a square occupied by an enemy ends your movement as well as incurring an attack of opportunity. You end your turn occupying the closest square possible I believe too. If you are talking about moving past a threatened area

2) EDIT: I'm dum, hurr durr, cant read.

1) I originally misread. You cannot move through an opponent if you fail the acrobatics check to tumble. You can however move past an opponent on a failed acrobatics check. You just are considered to have moved as normal.

2)

Quote:
Blood of Dragons: A dragon disciple adds his level to his sorcerer levels when determining the powers gained from his bloodline. If the dragon disciple does not have levels of sorcerer, he instead gains bloodline powers of the draconic bloodline, using his dragon disciple level as his sorcerer level to determine the bonuses gained. He must choose a dragon type upon gaining his first level in this class and that type must be the same as his sorcerer type. This ability does not grant bonus spells to a sorcerer unless he possesses spell slots of an appropriate level. Such bonus spells are automatically granted if the sorcerer gains spell slots of the spell's level.

So...yes. As long as you have sorcerer levels, you would gain the bonus spells as an appropriately leveled sorcerer. A Sorc 5/DD 3 would have the same bonus spells as a Sorc 7.

Thanks a lot for the input from both! That's what I needed to know.

Scarab Sages

I tumbled through an opponent once. You'd be surprised how much blood gets on your clothes.
