Inquisitor Domain Problems

Advice

So I'm in the process of making an NPC "bounty hunter" that's after 1 of my PC's. He's a Dwarf Inquisitor that's going to be using a heavy repeating crossbow as his main weapon (I know not the greatest for teamwork feats but it's more of a flavor thing). Here's what I have planned as of now using a 20 point buy (same point buy as the PCs).

True Neutral Dwarf Inquisitor 8
Str: 13
Dex: 18 (16+1+1)
Con: 12 (10+2)
Int: 12
Wis: 15 (13+2)
Cha: 10 (12-2)

1: Point Blank Shot
3: Precise Shot
5: Rapid Shot
7: Rapid Reload

The only problem I'm having is picking a domain, I was thinking possibly the Rune domain so he could lay some traps but I'm not really sure how often he'd use it. My other thought was having him be an Inquisitor of Abadar (I mean he's a bounty hunter that only cares about money, so worshiping the god of wealth seemed fair) and having the Travel domain so he could teleport around and shoot at the PC he's hunting while his minions (probably some animated objects or something along those lines) attack the other PCs, this would also make him faster than most Dwarves. Any suggestions would be nice.

Liberty's Edge

The Prophecies of Kalistrade would be a great religion for him, esp being that he is a dwarf. Information on this can be found in the Chronicles Campaign Setting.

As far as domains go, travel seems pretty cool for sure.

Travel. It is actually way too good.

I really like it, for some reason I just don't see a Dwarf with it :P

Same for my Dwarf. I actually really like protection msyelf, but whether the bounty hunter is that defensively minded is the question.

Really? I'd think even dwarves would travel to get different minerals and ores to work with, and to sell their wares in other places. Perhaps you hunt down the bandits that attack caravans?

Idk, I just don't really imagine fast Dwarves teleporting from place to place and moving over difficult terrain easily. I'm not saying it's not cool, I guess I just have a hard time not stereotyping Dwarves

don't feel bad even dwarves have a hard time not stereotyping dwarves

Personally, I am a fan of Chaos and Law domains for Inquisitors. Destruction is also fun. Knowledge domain works well for a tracker, gaining clairvoyance. I love Liberation domain for freedom of movement. Luck is solid.

The Exchange

The Inquisitor I'm playing is a crossbow wielder with the travel domain. It's very nice, because you can ignore difficult terrain for so many rounds (even better since we're currently in a forest full of difficult terrain). For a tracker/bounty hunter, it's even better because if you are able to set up ambushes in areas with lots of difficult terrain it will be hard for them to get to you (ie. You run through an area of it with no problem, then they can't charge you and they might have to use more than one movement to get to you). The speed boost and teleporting is icing on the cake, especially if there is elevated terrain close by (teleport up onto a balcony to set yourself up with cover and an inaccessible location for melee people).

Nobility isn't bad, you can get your own entourage and a short-duration ranged heroism buff.

I love the Knowledge Domain, it's just really good for reasons others have already posted.

The Animal domain makes you into more of a ranger (if you weren't already close enough)

I like the Trickery domain's copycat ability for ranged, but that's about it for that one.

Honestly Travel and Liberation are my 2 favorite domains, I just don't really know what to go with for this guy since he's only doing this for money (which doesn't really scream Liberation to me and I've already expressed my feelings of Dwarves with the Travel domain, although he may still have it). I'd really like to give him something like the Balance domain from the Spell Compendium but there's no domains like it in Pathfinder.
