2 PCs required for PbP group (4th Edition D&D)

Gamer Connection

Hello!

I'm DMing a group of loonies, er, I mean heroes, who have just completed the adventure "The Last Breaths of Ashenport". Due to the loss of some comrades, we require 2 bold souls to join us.

The group currently comprises:

Akahale Gilbrid - Dragonborn Dark Pact Warlock (Striker)
Mandrake the Mad - Human Wizard (Controller)
Grafire Serpenthelm - Dragonborn Warlord (Leader)

They require:

1 Defender
1 of any role

If you wish to join, you'll need to create a Level 9 character with the standard issue of 1 Level 8 item, 1 Level 9 item, 1 Level 10 item and 3,400 gp to spend on anything.

The group are all Good-aligned and lots of swearing by Bahamut occurs.

I am new to 4th edition, but I'd like to make an Eladrin Paladin. :) I'll present the stats here.

Hadarai Valanara, Eladrin Paladin Level 9

Awesome: looks good!

I know it's a pain, but please could you detail all your powers (at least the attack and damage rolls) just in case.

Thanks - you're in!

If I may suggest one thing - you might wish to purchase a neck slot item to boost your Fort, Ref, Will.

Yep, I'm on it. I hadn't finished typing everything. It takes a long time to put up a 4E character... lol. I'm rearranging my items right now to see if I can afford an amulet

Welcome :)

Cool. Just looking over the numbers - your healing surge value should be 74/4 rounded down = 18.

15+14+6+6+6+6+6+6+6+6 = 77 /4 rounded down = 19 +1 (belt of vigor) = 20

:)

I've got a quick rule question. Invigorating smite is a wisdom-based attack, but its a weapon power, would I add the flaming longsword's proficiency and enhancement bonuses?

As much as I wanna jump right into this, I'll wait for a little while and see if any other Pazonians want in.

Ignore me. :D

That'll teach me for posting when I should be doing something else!

Amelia - be good to have you aboard.

Yes, it adds to attack and damage with any attack you use it for, no matter what stat the attack is based on.

Also, if Amelia didn't already post, I'd post what she just said.

Ah, what the heck? Davi and Amy, you're both in, and then that's the lot.

My only stipulation would be no Evil characters.

So far you have:

Akahale Gilbrid - Dragonborn Dark Pact Warlock (Striker)
Mandrake the Mad - Human Wizard (Controller)
Grafire Serpenthelm - Dragonborn Warlord (Leader)
Hadarai Valanara - Eladrin Paladin of Corellon (Defender)

A primal or psionic character would fit well with some of the campaign themes so far and coming up.

You want a psionic character? You got a psionic character.

(I was messing around in the CB, which lead me to the Ardent, which made me remember the power called Fear and Loathing(Battlemind power, by the way) which lead me to use my vaguely-Hunter S Thompson alias for him.)

OK! I am lol'ing, as the kids might say.

Akahale Gilbrid - Dragonborn Dark Pact Warlock (Striker)
Mandrake the Mad - Human Wizard (Controller)
Grafire Serpenthelm - Dragonborn Warlord (Leader)
Hadarai Valanara - Eladrin Paladin of Corellon (Defender)
Otto Samir - Half-Elf Ardent (Leader)
?

Life will never be dull...
