Alchemist Bombs in a Launching Crossbow?

Hey everyone, does this work out?

Fast bombs discovery + a +1 quick-loading flaming launching crossbow = multiple Xd6+1(+1d6 fire) bombs at the iterative attack bonus rate? The wording of the fast bombs discovery and the manner in which an alchemist kinda "preps and throws" bombs as an action unto itself leads me to believe that this doesn't work, but you cannot deny, this makes for a pretty cool visual. (Plus, it would be awesome to apply magic weapon properties to an alchemist's bombs...)

Thanks guys!

If I were a DM, I would work with you to make something like this work except for the fact that the bombs wouldn't gain fiery damage, instead the fiery would function as the lighting mechanism. Also, regardless I wouldn't be opposed to a neat idea like that, but finding an Gnome engineer to rig you up a rocket launcher would be sooooo much cooler and fun. Fumbles would blow up in your face though, be ready for that though!

The status of Bombs(Su) as actual splash weapons is a bit questionable. However, as the RAW is in the playtest I would allow it.
