Having lived a stone's throw away from the Palmetto State most of my life (Charlotte NC), I have always found the news events from South Carolina to be entertaining, and somethimes bizarre. This story is no exception.

Disclaimer: Not that North Carolina hasn't had its share of weird stuff, too, but ya gotta admit...

As a fellow North Carolininian all I can say is what do you expect from a state that uses mustard as the base for their barbeque sauces instead of vinegar

Since Moorluck is the only one I know from SC, I somehow think this is all his fault. Not sure how yet, but has to be.

This is the first step on the way for LPM to get control of the white house. He first must cause such a ruckus in SC to be ushered in to office with no votes and then give a rousing speech that assures his entrance to the white house with no experience.

I'm not so coninced I mean he does have to get past Sarah Palin in 2012.

Well I for one will vote for almost anyone with whom is running against her.

Shouldn't be a problem. The White House wouldn't make her enough money to keep up her current lifestyle while in office.

Palin running in 2012 is the best thing that could happen to Democrats. There is no way she would get elected (at least I hope the American people aren't that dumb). If through some cruel twist of fate, she does manage to get elected, I'm moving to Canadia.

I guess I should start working on my Canadian work visa...

I wouldn't worry to much about palin in the upcomeing election everyone. The republicans already have a shoe in for a candidate with that hotty senator. I can't remember his name but he's young, did some modeling and has the whole wife, family, good looks thing going. he can match obama in charisma easily.

The guy who won Ted Kennedy's seat and embarassed his daughters by saying "Yes, lads, they're still single"? Yay, pimpdaddy for President. ;-)

Nothing wrong with primeing the pump for a political marriage.

The sad thing is if the student had exercised his right to defend himself when the congressman attacked him he would probably be facing federal charges now; of course the congressman won't face any legal repercussions for attacking the student.
