What do we know about Pitax?

Kingmaker

I'm trying to situate the Kingmaker AP into my campaign setting, and I'm not entirely sure exactly what to do with Pitax. I'd obviously like to keep the city-state in, but I may need to do some general tweaking of the information. However, I don't know much about Pitax except that it's a tyranny, so I was just wondering what sort of general details there might be available regarding the city, so I know how best to situate it.

Anyone got anything? The Pathfinder Wiki doesn't have much info. Thanks in advance.

There is a short nugget in the Campaign Setting.

There is a longer article in the Guide to the River Kingdoms.

There is also info about Pitax in the upcoming Pathfinder #35.

Dark Archive

It's a bandit-haven nation run by a politically-minded bard who's out to attract as much "culture" as possible. Musical schools churn out LOTS of mostly-untallented but technically skilled musicians & artists, everything's very roughly pretensious, and crime & illicit trade is damn near open.

Yes, very detailed write-up (4-6 pages?) in "Guide to the River Kingdoms." Good reading in general! Even though you have your own campaign setting, this would be an awesome resource. It's different from every other campaign-specific RPG book I've read in that it gives snippets (and the occasionally longer piece, like the one for Pitax) on a large number of disparate areas with very different histories. It has lots of potential for cherry-picking and kit-bashing--you won't regret the $20 investment.
