How many AoO do I provoke for an unarmed trip?

Rules Questions

How many AoO does making an unarmed trip maneuver provoke?

One for trip (unless you have improved trip), that is obvious. But is a trip performed without a weapon actually an unarmed attack?

Would a character need Improved Unarmed Strike AND Improved Trip in order to avoid AoO? To me it seems logical enough; but feat-wise a bit too demanding.

I should look it up, but I do not think an unarmed trip counts as an unarmed attack. Could be wrong tho...

Combat manuevers provoke a single AoO whether you use a weapon or not; if you have the appropriate improved feat, they don't.

A character can never make more then one attack of oppertunity agains the same target.

Not quite correct: can never make more than one for each provoking action. If I move through a threatened square and then try to disarm I draw two AoOs.

The trip maneuver replaces your melee attack, so there wouldn't be multiple chances for your target to get AoOs, just the one for the trip itself.
