Mnemonic enhancer and familiars

Rules Questions

The target for the spell is you, therefore the "shared spells" ability allows you to cast this spell on your familiar.

If the familiar has the appropriate Intelligence score for the level of spell, it can then cast the spells.

Remember, before you say "no hands - no spells" that both Couatl and Naga are both able to cast spells. Also, any familiar with a master above 4th level can speak.

Any thoughts?

Really?

No objections?

I object, but I'll leave it at that

The spell description says: "you prepare and cast these spells normally". So I agree that if your familiar could normally prepare and cast spells, it can do so with this spell.
Since your familiar normally can't, this won't work.

Certainly you can share Mnemonic enhancer with your familiar.

It will need the INT score to cast them as you noted.

However the argument that Nagas and the like don't require hands, does not mean that YOU don't need a hand free to satisfy a S component.

These spells are cast 'normally' which could, indeed, mean just that.
