Miriam Webster says (B) but most people I know (and me) pronounce it like (A). It seems pronouncing it like (A) is influenced by the Spanish pronunciation of diablo.
Funny really!
I have always called it B from "diabolical" which I have heard a lot.
But got in doubt since Spanish is my first language... and as you said in Spanish it is pronounced like the computer game "Diablo".
Thanks.

Agreed. We always figured it was a variation of "diabolical" so we say it like that only with an "-ist" at the end instead of the "-cal."

We pronounce it like "A".
Such as in the word Diablerie meaning the domain or realm of demons/devils.
EDIT:
Apparently we're all wrong though. From Dictionary.com it should be pronounced dahy-ab-uh-liz-uhm.
So Day vs. Die, Dah, or Dee.

It's write differently, but corresponds to B.
Good lincs by the way. Diablerie corresponds to A and Diabolism is B

Choice B is most correct; as the root is from Diabolical; but really; as long as the hearer understands; it makes no difference. There is not correct spelling or pronunciation; that is all a myth taken way to seriously that came about from old Webster not being able to read his Enclyopedias; so he had to make a "dictionary of most common usage" so people could understand.
