CoT AP advice for a 1st time GM please

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Hey guys,
I'm about to start my first game as GM running the Council of Thieves AP for a change of pace campaign.

Just wanted to see if anyone had any useful tips for me as a first time GM from experience and/or from experience running the CoT AP and what I should look/prepare for.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Go check out the Council of Thieves messageboards.

You'll find tons of advice there, and more importantly, most players know to go there to avoid spoilers.

It's a fun AP, but there are a lot of nuances to pay attention to.

In short, be at ease with the named npcs, and try to give them personality.

The early fights are fairly easy, unless the party is dumb.

Also, really play up the "we love Westcrown" angle early...if they are invested in the town, your job as DM is halfway done.
