Does Bane stack with Bane?

Playing the other day we came to an interesting argument about penalties stacking with each other since they often do not have a type.

The example at hand was the Witches evil eye, but I think the implications become even more important with spells like bane.
Whats the official word? does bane stack with bane?

My ruling would be that it does not. Even untyped bonuses originating from an identical source do not stack with each other and thus I think the same applies for penalties.

Penalties never stack with each other, you only apply the largest one. See the discussion of Ray of Enfeeblement and Touch of Idiocy.
