Scribe Scroll Cost Clarification

Rules Questions

Ok, I see the whole 25 x spell level x caster level thing, but i also saw somewhere else a price for ink and materials to scribe the scroll? I am a bit confused, and I am only charging the pc's 1/2 the 25 x cl x spell level for the scroll. what is the extra cost, and where can i find it?
or is it considered to be subsumed in the 25 x cl x spell level already?

Scarab Sages

The 25 x cl x sl cost is the market price for that scroll. Crafters pay half that cost in materials. So you can assume the ink and such is factored in.

Complete agreement with addendum:

If the spell has an expensive component then you have to increase the price of the scroll by the cost of the expensive component and that part of the price is not decreased for the purposes of crafting the item.

This happens in the case of spells like stoneskin:

Stoneskin is a 4th level spell with a caster level minimum of 7 (which is normally how it is scribed onto a scroll) which means it would cost 4x7x25 to buy one or (4x7x25)/2 to make one... but it also has an expensive component which is diamond dust... specifically 250 gp worth.

So it would actually cost:
700+250 = 950 gp to buy a scroll of stoneskin(caster level 7)
or
350+250 = 600 gp to make a scroll of stoneskin(caster level 7)

Final note: When making a magical item you can set the caster level at any point equal to the minimum caster level for a spell of that level or higher, but setting it higher will cost more.
