I want to see if anyone is interested in joining... well, it's in the title. This will be my first time DMing on the messageboards, though not my first time DMing at all. I'm looking for a party of up to six adventurers.
The backstory (briefly)
-The magistrates of the trading town of Luskan are stepping up their security. The lawmen's inspections, and increased monster activity targeted at the town, have driven the owner of a large hotel on the wrong side of the tracks to seek out willing adventurers to bring a precious, top-secret treasure to a colleague of his in a Northern town for him, though the journey may be harrowing.
I intend the roleplay to be fairly focused on the roleplaying aspect, instead of combat, and may eventually involve some detective work. Some of the more experienced gamers on these forums may be more familiar with the technical rules than I.
-The characters that answer the landlord's advertisement are likely to be from the wrong side of the tracks, though I don't want the party comprised entirely of rogues. For creating a character, everything from the Core Rulebook is "legal", and if you would like to play a race from the Bestiary please post which race you are thinking of. The pantheon is the one in the Core Rulebook, though the game is not in Golarion. Select two traits, the characters will be first level. All feats and equipment and other such from Pathfinder Chronicles; Seekers of Secrets are legal, as well as any of those and the two deities found in Pathfinder Chronicles; guide to the River Kingdoms. If you would like to make use of anything else, please notify me. This pbp is basically first come, first serve. Post your character name and concept. I would appreciate it if latecomers would fill in any gaps in the party. I ask that any who join be able to post fairly often, though I myself may not be able to post for a few days at a time.

Mash, a sword-wielding half-orc barbarian, comes from a village of refuge half-orcs that was destroyed years ago. Only a handful of half-orcs managed to walk away from the devastation. While not particularly bright, he usually means well, and what he does well is stab, slash, and poke his way through a bigoted world.

            Ok...let's see what I get
4d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 2, 5) = 15
4d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 4, 2) = 17
4d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 1, 3) = 12
4d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 3, 5) = 13
4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 6, 5) = 15
4d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 6, 3) = 16
EDIT: Ok so it looks like I'm working with 13, 15, 11, 12, 14, 15.
I assume we can arrange the order of the rolls to fit character concept?
If so after the +2 for human Erodel has:
Str:11 Dex:15 Con:12 Int:17 Wis:13 Cha:14

I assume you are posting as your characters? They both would fit in the party just fine. If everyone who has posted interest so far follows through, I have the my adventuring party, or at least my adventuring party in the making.
Ok sounds good, I would like to have him know one of the other party members pretty well, so I can have an existing relationship with him/her. That would make it easy for him to fit in with the group, he he

Ok, I'm deciding between a monk (because Yucale said that one probably wouldn't answer the advertisment) and a Wizard/Fighter going for Eldritch Knight. Let me know what you think.
Eldritch Knight:
Vagin lay in the hospital having given up on life. The elf in the bed next to him kept talking to him though. He distracted Vagin from his troubles. In his talks with the elf, Vagin was reminded of his affinity for magic. He would practice to keep from being bored. In time, Vagin did get better, but he will have a limp for the rest of his days.
Once he got better, Vagin decided to use magic along with his sword. Rather than join the army, Vagin decided to seek his fortune as an adventurer.
Monk:
Vagin was a rather large boy. His father was a baker and allowed Vagin to sample any and all of the sweet delicacies he wanted. His size made him the object of ridicule. Eventually the childish taunts and name calling became bullying by a group of boys. After a time, he tired of being pushed around while giving away his sweets. One day, he fought back. His first attempt at self defense did not go very well, but the more he fought, the better he got at it. Perhaps that’s how it all started.
He trained and learned and improved until he became the bully of bullies. In time, Vagin made those boys pay him not to beat them up. He would start fights just to prove he was the best. His talent and attitude did not go unnoticed. Trask, an up and coming crime boss came to him and offered him a job as a bodyguard. Delmar would just need to stand there looking tough as Trask went around collecting debts. It was easy money until a shop owner did not pay. Trask ordered Vagin to break his arm. After some hesitation, Vagin did. It was easier than he thought it would be and Trask gave him a large bonus for his good work. Perhaps that’s how it all started.
Vagin became Trask’s top enforcer and money collector. You paid him what you owed or he hurt you. Somehow, Vagin got the idea that he should be the boss. His coup was unsuccessful, but he was able to make it out alive. He fled town as fast as he could. His wanderings brought him upon a bandit camp where, after a brutal initiation, he was accepted as a member. Perhaps that’s how it all started.
All was going well for him as a bandit until his group ambushed a lone wagon and driver. It turned out to be Vagin’s brother. He was delivering some sweets to a local lord. As Vagin tried to talk his gang out of robbing his brother they turned on him. Somehow, he was able to defeat them while his brother ran away. Vagin could not return home nor could he go back to the bandit camp. He wandered some more until he came to Luskan. He had vowed that he would not become an enforcer again, but as he looked for work, he realized the only thing he knew how to do was fight. Perhaps that’s how it all started.
In desperate need of money, Vagin came upon a fighting arena. He thought this was a way for him to earn an honest living doing what he does well. That illusion was soon shattered. Now he stands over a defeated opponent, his hand raised to deliver the killing blow The crowd cheering him on. It is at this ignominious moment that Vagin realizes, it does not matter how it all started. All that matters is how it ends. Perhaps this is how it all starts…

Eldritch Knight: ** spoiler omitted **
Monk: ** spoiler omitted **...
Dax, if you decide on playing the monk, what say you about Vagin and Cole being brothers, maybe even the same one you allowed to escape.
What do you think?

All languages listed in the Core Rulebook under Linguistics.
Some others that are pretty much concept right now;
-Osskan, from the islands to the far northwest
-Karg, from the islands nearer to the west
-Arun, from the plains/grasslands to the southeast
In the coastal region of Luskan and the mountain/forest region around, there are quite a few dialects (because of trade), but almost everyone knows Common.
If Memento doesn't post soon, then yes.

Yeah, max starting hp. Attributes, roll 4d6 and add the three highest numbers.
Okay, experimenting with the stat rolling.
4d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 3, 3) = 16
4d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 6, 4) = 22
4d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 1, 1) = 12
4d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 4, 5) = 17
4d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 6, 2) = 14
4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 4, 1) = 11
So: 13, 18, 11, 15, 13, 10
Max HP at fist Level etc.
Okay, will edit character when I have a chance.
Thank you for allowing Des to play. *bows*

okay, I have a question how do you feel about the rich parents trait, though in this case. I would want to change the flavor from>>>
Rich Parents
You were born into a rich family, perhaps even the nobility, and even though you turned to a life of adventure anyway, you enjoyed a one-time benefit to your initial finances and your starting cash increases to 900 gp.
to >>>
successful thief
You were born into a life of crime and have been stealing from a unaware rich family, perhaps even nobility, and even though you turned to a life of adventure, you've enjoyed a one-time benefit to your initial finances and your starting cash increases to 900 gp.

okie dok, then I will more than likely go ahead and change my feat as well as there are some that could defiantly be more beneficial in the long run.
I made my armor, morning star and longbow masterwork, upgraded from hemp rope to silk rope and bought a mirror.oh, how the gold spends its self.
I changed my feat from that wakky black market feat, to the much more useful weapon finesse.
and now I am done....?
