At Lythar's report, Koloran offers a quick silent prayer to Iomedae and follows him downstairs. John...five heads are better than four...come with us.


Male Tiefling Rogue/2

Drolgun:
"you are doin it wrong let me show you how its done." James says menuvering past drolgun to listen to the door

Perception-1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10


Male Chelaxian Bard 2

"But really wouldn't eight hands be better than ten. I think I would be really clumsy" John says as he starts to follow Koloran.


Drolgun:
You can pick up nothing other than James' breathing.

James:
Everything is quiet on the other side of the door. Too quiet.

Koloran, John, and Lythar:
Slowly you make your way down the stairs. The light from Koloran's shield showing the way.
At the bottom of the stairs, the hallway turns left and ends in a simple wooden door. A short message has been artfully carved on the door, but someone seems to have marred the message with slashes from a sharp instrument.
The door carving reads, “Praise and thanks to those who spent their lives in service to Erastil—their work strengthens us all.”
You see Drolgun and James with thier ears planted on the closed door.


Male Dwarf Fighter 2

Drolgun moves away from the door and whispers to the rest of the group. Shall we burst through all at once? Or James and myself can go forward again to spring any traps and the rest can follow at a distance?


Male Tiefling Rogue/2

"Whichever."


Male Human Cleric 2

They already know we're here. The longer we wait the more chance we have of losing them. Break it down.


Male Chelaxian Bard 2

"Hey guys, what if it is like a tomb or something. I'm just sayin'."


Male Dwarf Fighter 2

Drolgun addresses Jemaes, Before we bust through would you like to pick the lock? If it's locked, it would save some time and just maybe we could surprise 'em.

Drolgun then looks to the rest of the group, I'll go first once we're through the door.


Still here...just waiting to see what's going on!


Male Human Cleric 2

Good thinking...James, can you get us in without breaking the door incase we need to shut it again quickly? Koloran says in a low tone.


Male Tiefling Rogue/2

"Allllllright."

James will slowly try to turn the knob on the door [if their is one] (Stealth) 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (10) + 12 = 22 to see if its locked. if their is no knob or if its locked then he will try to pick the lock.

"Oh it's one of these, nasty ones, you see what you got here is the PX9400 secret locking device. It uses chemicals and natural magic from the mecurial steel to seal the lock shut but I know the secret around em."
Disable Divice-1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29

"And uhhh that should do."


James:
The door is not locked and you did not find any traps on the door.


Male Half-Elf Ranger 2

Lythar stands behind Drolgun readying his sword for whatever is on the other side of the door.


Male Tiefling Rogue/2

"No, just kidding their is no mecurial steel, onward shall we!?" James says kicking the door open then letting out a shreik only known in foreign countrys as the shreik of good-will then moves onward hopeing to catch them off guard.


You step through the door that has now been kicked open. The walls are made of carved stone and a door is visible (thanks to Koloran's light for those without darkvision) to the east. The room is cold and quiet. Koloran's shield is the only thing lighting the area.

Koloran's shield will provide normal light in a 20 ft. radius and dim light in a 20 ft. radius outside that. Combat in dim light (for those without darkvision) take a 20% miss chance, in darkness it goes up to 50%. Also, those with low-light vision should double the normal light radius and the dim light radius (normal light and dim light radius goes out to 40 ft.)

moving forward Lythar steps passed Drolgun and stands beside James to provide a strong front.

DisturbedGM:
How cramped is this stair well? Can we move past each other or are we stuck single file?

Koloran will move as close as he can to the doorway and try to shine his light into the room.


Male Dwarf Fighter 2

Drolgun looks around disliking the quiet of the room.

Perception 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Perception for unusual stonework (traps/secret doors) 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24

Unless Drolgun is distracted (ie in combat) he will continually search.


Male Chelaxian Bard 2

John will just stay with Koloran, he has the light.


Male Tiefling Rogue/2

James moves to AL 22

DisturbedGM:
James will start moaning like a mummy hoping that it will attract the mummies or scare off the bandits.


Drolgun stands in the doorway, his axe and shield ready, listening and looking for anything unusual.

In the mean time, Lythar pushes his way past Drolgun into the room while Koloran moves up behind Drolgun to shed light into the darkened area.

John follows up behind Koloran as James makes moaning noises and moves across the room as if he were undead.

Drolgun's character is under Koloran's as I figured Drolgun hasn't moved into the room just yet and Koloran is shining his shield over Drolgun's head into the room.

James:
Someone is speaking to you from the next room. Will save

Drolgun:
Someone is speaking in the room to your left but it is too faint to make out what it is saying.

Koloran:
You are free to move in/or through a party members square without incident

Koloran will step into the room (AM,21) and look around.
Perception:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21


Male Half-Elf Ranger 2

Lythar will follow James to give him backup if the time arises.


Male Dwarf Fighter 2

Drolgun whispers to the group as he points with his axe to the where the noise is coming from, On the left.

Action:
Drolgun will move to AM22 and ensure that his weapons are ready. He readies an action against any attackers that may approach within his range.


waiting on James...will give him a little more time to respond.


Male Tiefling Rogue/2

DisturbedGM:
Will save-1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
James will check this door for traps then disarm them or he will open it if their is no traps.
Perception-1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Disable Divice-1d20 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14


James:
Through the doorway you spot 4 tieflings and a mummy looking creature in the next room. The tieflings have crossbows aimed your way, but something is telling you it may be best to go back to the hideout and get some more healing potions.

Failed saving throw, charm person suggesting you go to get more potions back home. By the way...there was no door there, just a doorway.

Drolgun:
You move behind James, who has decided to turn back toward you and looks like he is trying to leave. In the distance, behind James, you can spot a couple of tieflings with crossbows pointed to the open doorway.
Initiative and actions if you plan to do anything since you can see the targets.

As Lythar moves up next to James and Koloran steps into the room, they notice James has stopped acting like an undead and he now looks like he may be making his way toward the exit as if he forgot something.

What is going on James? Drolgun? Can you see anything? Koloran whispers.


Sorry I haven't posted in the last couple of days. Out of town and the discussion post seems to have disappeared on me. I haven't forgotten and will get to it asap. Sorry for the late notice.


Drolgun:

Twelve brick-lined crypts take up most of the wall space in this room, yet strangely, a number of large cushions are strewn about the floor. A door on the north end is open.

As James gets out of the way, you rush in shield ready and dwarven waraxe set. You strike out at the first tiefling you see causing him to drop his crossbow as he takes a shot from your waraxe. At the same time the tiefling behind him fires wildly taking out his friend in front of him.

The tiefling to your left drops his crossbow and picks up his mace, but your shield blocks his blow.

The tiefling behind him fires with his crossbow as well but misses horribly as the shot goes into the next room.

Behind the group of normal tieflings meanders a thing from nightmares. It's skin appearing withered and hard, almost as if it had dried to a leathery-like shell after being preserved in a tomb. He raises a hand slowly and a bolt of magic fires towards you. Hitting you full on. 5 points of damage, not bad for all that took you on!

Koloran, John, and Lythar:
Drolgun issues a battle cry as he heads into the next room. Initiative and actions please!

James:
You run toward the stairs as fast as you can, ignoring the others questions. You have to get more healing potions.


Male Dwarf Fighter 2

Drolgun yells C'mon bastards let's make you as dead as that thing behind ya.

Action:

Drolgun will stay where he is and attack the tiefling at AJ21 utilizing Power Attack.

To Hit 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
Damage 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5


Male Half-Elf Ranger 2

initiative:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Seeing Drolgun rush in. Lythar moves after him to back him up. his sword ready for what awaits him.


Male Human Cleric 2

Janiven, Arael we are under attack! Koloran yells to warn those above.

Action:
Koloran will cast Bless as soon as he can.
Initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12


Drolgun:
The blow of your mighty waraxe drops the tiefling in one swing.

A tiefling from the back row steps in to swing with his mace, but his blow glances off your shield.

You can hear Koloran casting a spell from behind, encouraging you to continue fighting.

Lythar steps up to try and help but he seems to be momentarily distracted.

The other tiefling attempts to fire toward you or Lythar. However, he seems to not have the same blessing as you have gathered for his crossbow string breaks.

All of a sudden the mummy like creature in the back sends another volley of magical fire your way.3 points of damage.

Lythar:
You step up behind Drolgun and instantly, all you can see is darkness. However, there are sounds of battle that can be heard in the darkness. You can easily pick out Drolgun's cocky remarks.

Koloran and John:
Koloran raises his holy symbol and a flash of white light comes flashes over the area.

Darkness begins permeating from the room where Drolgun had entered. Even the brightness of your shield cannot penatrate this magical darkness.

James:
You rush upstairs where Janiven and Arael rush up to you.
'Whats going on? Are you hurt?'


Male Tiefling Rogue/2

"I thought it would be a good idea to get some healing potions! So move out of the way and I'll be back." James says pushing them aside.


Male Half-Elf Ranger 2

Lythar will push through the darkness to the fight within or on the other side of. He sword at the ready to strike any enemy.


Male Human Cleric 2

Koloran, realizing the darkness may quickly doom the group begins shouting orders...John, quickly run back up and warn Arael and Janiven that we are in need of aid down here. Drolgun, I can't see you at all! If you are hurt, cry out and I will try to find you!


Giving Drolgun a little more time.


Male Dwarf Fighter 2

In response to Kolroan, he yells I could use some divine help in here. This mummy ain't gonna die on its own.

Action:

Drolgun says to the mummy as feels its magical fire, Ooh, that's starting to tickle bandage man.

Drolgun will attack the tiefling with the mace in hand, again with Power Attack.

To hit 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Damage 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5


Drolgun:
You move up to attack one of the tieflings in front of you and find that it falls easily under the blow of your axe.

As the tiefling hits the ground you can hear Koloran and Lythar coming up from behind; trying to make their way in to help out in the fight.

You can see Lythar trying to navigate in this darkness and you spot his adversary coming in for the chance to hit him full on. You see it smile as it hits Lythar in the chest with it's mace.

The bandaged creature in the back laughs at your futile attempt at humor and unleashes another bolt of magic.2 points of damage

Koloran, Lythar, and John:
Once again you can hear Drolgun taking the fight to whatever he's found.

Koloran attempts to contact Drolgun to aid him if possible.

Lythar moves into the darkness, his weapon at the ready. Suddenly he is hit full on in the chest by something who follows the hit with mocking laughter. 3 points of damage

All of a sudden the darkness lightens up for a second as a bolt of magic goes flying into Drolgun. But just as suddenly it goes out.

When the flash happened, Drolgun is to Lythar's immediate right and 10 feet ahead of Koloran. Directly in front of Lythar is a tiefling and behind that is what looks like a mummy.

For those wishing to attack in darkness I need a percentage roll and the action you are performing. Including any necessary rolls.

James:
Janiven and Arael attempt to grab you and stop you from going.

He is under some spell! Arael says.


Male Dwarf Fighter 2

Action:
Drolgun yells Lythar as he rushes to AI22 and attacks the tiefling.

Drolgun's attack on the tiefling will be with Power Attack. If he hits the tiefling, he will use Cleave to attack the mummy. If an attack on the mummy is made, Drolgun's AC takes -2 until his next turn.

Disturbed -- what's the dotted line between the teiflings and the mummy representing, just an open doorway I'm hoping

To hit tiefling 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Damage 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

To hit Mummy 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
Damage 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7


Male Human Cleric 2

Making use of the quick flash of light to get his bearing Koloran picks out Drolguns form and move straight towards him. Iomedae grant us mercy!

Action:
Koloran will move straight towards Drolgun and cast Cure Light Wounds on him, choosing to drop his Obscuring Mist spell.
Perception roll to spot Drolgun 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Cure Light Wounds1d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

"AUGH!!" Lythar staggers a bit before swinging in the direction that the blow came from.

Not sure what subtractions I am suppossed to make so just subtract them from my total.

Attack:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

Damage:1d10 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12


Drolgun:
You rush forward screaming Lythar's name. You attempt to hit the tiefling who dealt a mighty blow to Lythar but the tiefling is too nimble and escapes the blow you intended for it.

Out of the corner of your eye you spot Koloran feeling around in the dark with the words of a spell coming from his lips. You see him swipe out with his hand to feel nothing.

Swinging for all he is worth, Lythar attempts to hit the one who hurt him so, but to no avail.

Fortunately for Lythar, the movement with his blade is enough to cause the tiefling to miss.

The mummy like creature puts his hands together for another spell but the spell seemed to fizzle at his attempt.

The dashed line is just an outline of where you are at under the temple itself.

Koloran:
Hearing the clash of steel on armor, you rush forward as soon as you can, but you hand passes through nothingness at where Drolgun once stood.

Spell did not go off, so it can still be used.

Lythar:
Getting a moment to spot the tiefling helped in front of you helped. Try though you might you still miss in the attack, but you can feel that your blades stopped another attack.

Drolgun says, Lythar he's directly in front of you.

Action:

Drolgun will pretty much take the same action as last round, only his first attack will be against the mummy and the Cleave attack will be against the Tiefling.

To Hit (Mummy) 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
Damage (Mummy) 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

To Hit (Tiefling) 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Damage (Tiefling) 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8


Male Human Cleric 2

Action:
Koloran will face towards the sound of Drolguns voice and move towards him and attempt to cast the Cure Light Wounds spell on him again.
Not sure if it needs another roll, but if so 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9


Male Half-Elf Ranger 2

Lythar once again swings in the black trying to strike at the foe.

Attack:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16

Damage:1d10 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11


Male Tiefling Rogue/2

"Are you guys gonna carry me back? alright then, lets go!" James says lifting his arms into the air.
