When I copy/paste text from the PDF I get weird characters in some places, but they always seem to be consistent.
For example, in the Bestiary p 78 for the BEHEMOTH, RAVENER:
Instead of Behemoth, Ravener CR 18 I get B!"!#$%", R&'!(!) CR 18
and through out the stat block "ft" is replaced by either "!" or a quote character
Init –2; Senses blindsense 60 !., darkvision 60 !., low-light
vision, scent; Perception +17
or
More o"en, the gods challenge their
mortal champions
by directing them
to deal with such
creatures in their stead.
Now in the PDF itself displays correctly
Can you make it so the copy/paste has the correct text?
Thanks
Edit: I'm using PDF Viewer 9.3.1

Those are the unicode (or ascii, or hex?) characters that pop up. Usually only in the stat blocks. Using Notepad++ I can do a Find/Replace on them to fix it.
The one that bothers me the most is where two "thin" fonts show up together and add a space. "Refl ex", "Diff erent", and "Unifi ed".
I'd like to see the link as well, no luck on the new and improved search function.
EDIT:
Adobe Acrobat
Also, using XPDF loses all the numbers in stat blocks. Different font in the PDF?
