I was surprised that this hadn't bubbled up yet.
Fans of Shadowrun and Battletech may want to read. The short story is that Catalyst has announced that they are experiencing significant financial problems due to fiscal mis-management by one of the corporate owners. The letter is fairly upbeat all things considered, but it certainly doesn't sound good.
Unfortunately Adam Jury also resigned his position (as did their office manager/bookkeeper).
I'm not going to speculate out-loud, but there is much to read between the lines there.

Over at Dumpshock everybody is in a state of panic. Mostly due to our old buddy Frank Trollman.

Rumors are flying and it doesn't sound good. I'm curious, how valid are the rumors that the license is up for renewal soon? That would be put CGL in a bit of a pickle.
That one isn't just a rumor, one of the CGL people (can't remember name...Jason....something?) confirmed on ENWorld forum that it was up in a few months.
