Pending?

I am a new Pathfinder AP subscriber, anxiously awaiting Kingmaker #1 (and Council #6) and yet my order status remains in 'pending'. Is there something holding up the process?

Please let me know, since I cannot wait to get this package in the mail!

Well not to answer for paizo... but I am going to anyways :)

Normally when it shows pending in my experience, it means that the order has been approved but has not yet been collected, packed and shipped yet. Or something to that effect. As a example, mine go to pending as soon as I get the email saying it is about to ship and they check our debit card for funds and it stays saying pending until I get a email saying it has shipped. Then it switches to showing shipped. Hope that helps.

Thank you Dark_Mistress. I haven't gotten the much-anticipated 'about to ship' email (or perhaps it got filtered), and I realize I'm probably just being antsy. I am reassured by your response however, so thanks. :)

Yup, they have several thousand (tens of thousands?) APs to ship, and they just started mid afternoon on Friday, it usually takes 3-4 business days to get through them all. If you don't see it as 'shipping' by Thursday (and have the PDF in 'my DOWNLOADS') , I would say that would be about the time to start worrying.

Thanks! Since I'm a newbie at the Pathfinder subscriby-thingy I appreciate the help. It would be easier to wait if I weren't completely spastic-excited about this AP.

It would be nice if those of us with Pending orders could download the PDF now. I'm starting a game in 2 weeks, it sucks knowing that if I hadn't subscribed I could buy the PDF now, but that since I did subscribe I have to wait. It feels like I'm being penalized for being a good customer!

The reason that you cannot get your PDF until you are shipped is that they want to prevent people from getting access to the PDF and then canceling the subscription before they get charged/shipped. And the way the credit card agreements with the companies work, they can't charge the credit card until it is ready to ship

I find it amusing how often coincidence is seen as the "squeaky wheel" on the message boards. It just so happened that we were in the process of printing orders when you posted the first time. :)

I am in the same boat as the OP, was hoping it would ship by now so as to at least read through the PDF. Kingmaker is why I subscribed and Seprent Skull sounds worth staying on after that as well. I was hoping to at least have the PDF by my birthday today.

My best guess would be sometime on Thursday. There is still quite a large stack, and that was with me helping out almost all day. Unfortunately, I won't be here to help tomorrow.
