Rogue advanced talent: feat

Rules Questions

it says a rogue can only take any given talent once but in the description of the advanced talent Feat it says you can take a feat "in place" of a talent so does this mean you can take the feat multiple times? Now the Combat Trick talent clearly states that it is a talent that gives you a combat feat so this is why I'm asking

Reference PRD "Feat: A rogue may gain any feat that she qualifies for in place of a rogue talent."

"Feat" is a rogues talent so you can only pick it once. It seems to take a rogue talent you have and in place of that talent you get a feat. Now I suppose it could be a talent you don't have and then the next talent you get you pick the feat. Basically you are spending two rogues talents to get one feat. That's how it reads anyways not sure if that is the intent.

Personally I'd house rule it to be pick a feat you qualify for. That makes more sense to me.

Well actually "Feat" is an ADVANCED Rogue Talent... and their definition does NOT say they can only be selected ONCE. So if a rogue wanted to take say... 2 DEFENSIVE ROLLS to be able to use it twice a day he could, the same with FEAT or any other ADVANCED RT's including ones from the APG or any other rule book that having two or more of the same would make sense.
You are reading something in that is not there. Give the writers at Paizo credit for being accurate and inclusive.
