Why are some books available and others not? Many of the Council of Thieves AP are not available from amazon and neither is Classic Horrors, but Guide to the River Kingdoms is. And the Andoran Companion will take 2 to 4 weeks before delivery
There was some sort of major botch up between Amazon and Diamond, the company that acts as the intermediary between Paizo and Amazon. They're apparently having to count everything to figure out what's actually on hand and available. That might be why some products are listed as unavailable.

when is this Diamond thing going to get fixed?
When I contacted them, they said they sold out because the number of orders greatly exceeded what they had ordered from their distributor.
And they were trying to find more but were not expecting to get any.
so it has nothing to do with the Diamond thing?

I'm guessing it does have to do with the diamond thing. The "sold out" comment is most likely the customer service people looking at the computer and seeing them on back order.... As they most likely don't know, or can't give out information about the diamond thing.

Amazon apparently had to initiate an item-by-item audit of every item in their system supplied by Diamond Comics or Diamond Books. If things work the way I think they work, that means that any item that hasn't yet been audited will show as not available directly from Amazon.
I'm sure some items *are* genuinely out of stock at Amazon, though, but Diamond should have stock of *most* of those items. So as long as Amazon is placing orders with Diamond promptly, it shouldn't take them long to get new stock.

Thanks for telling us! I grabbed the opportunity and ordered a slew of Paizo products from Amazon before something ELSE goes wrong.
(Although I am a tad nervous that the entry for Stolen Land is listed as "usually ships in 2 to 4 weeks." Here's hoping that's just an oversight that will be corrected.)

Ah. I've never ordered anything that new before, so I didn't realize. Thank you.
Well, just in case amazon holds up my WHOLE order until Stolen Land comes in, I just ordered a 1-cent used Planet Stories book. Hopefully, that will do for my Paizo fix until I get my next one.
