I am new to PBP but have run several PBEM's since 3rd edition via YahooGroups. I would like to start running a Council of Thieves PBP for
a small dedicated group of players (4-5). I am looking for people interested in telling a good story with fleshed out characters. Posting daily is necessary to keep things moving forward.
So, if you are interested please send a character concept to deadshot15 at gmail dot com. I am looking for a good character background to see which ones will best mesh together. We'll get character sheets together once the party is settled.
When we get to character sheets it will be first level 20 point buy and use only Core Rules classes and races. You will have max hp at first level. I will keep the character submission process open until noon on Sunday, Mar. 7th and post the final party here by Monday, Mar. 8th.
Looking forward to trying out PBP to see how it compares to PBEM. Thanks in advance for your submissions as I know there are many top quality players here.

Thanks all for your interest so far. As I had said, I was looking to run Core rules only but I suppose we could add in the APG classes as well. I'll have to get up to speed on them but for now, they are in so Dax you can send along a submission for an Inquistor. So far I am noticing a trend of spellcasters. Any interest in some muscle or skill monkeys out there?
Wulfson and Mulban I have received your submissions. Thanks!

You know I was going to look at a wizard or summoner but given that I'll look at building some muscle and send in a character tonight before bed.
Or ... I could go with a summoner that's muscle oriented? hmmm....
Still, a good old fashioned fighter is often under rated. I'll mull over it while I run to the store. Another content question though, what about character traits and the Council of Thieves Player's Guide?

Submission sent, a tiefling bard by the name of Koveluss Vossare; I know tieflings aren't in the Core Rulebook, but they are technically a playable race in the game's core rules, presented as part of the Bestiary. In addition, the AP is simply made for them, with variants just begging to be used. Ultimately, the concept struck me as too good not to send your way.
Of course, it remains up to you to decide if you'll allow the character. If you decide it's a no-go, I'll try to get something else submitted before the deadline.

Received submissions from Ellipis, Dorgar, Dax, Zummi and Heaven's Agent.
With that, submissions are now closed.
Wow, a great turnout and some fantastic submissions. I have my work cut out for me. I'll do my best to get out the final cut this afternoon.
Again, thanks to everyone who took the time to put together such great submissions. I'm sorry I can't take you all! I am thinking of bumping up the party size to 6 to at least take a third of the submissions I receieved.
Stay tuned!

After much deliberation here is the party selected for the game. Thanks to all who made submissions. It was as I expected a very difficult process but I can't take everyone. However, for those who did not make it in please keep an eye here for a bit longer as there might be someone who is unable to continue and I would love to bring on someone who took the time to submit an application.
Without further ado, here is the party:
Tobias - Witch Doctor
Thosys - Universalist Wizard
Zumii - Cleric of Pharasma
Hadrian - Human Monk
Lia - Human Rogue
Salm - Half-orc Inquistor
For those selected please go HERE for our OOC thread.
Happy gaming everyone!

Hey, long time, no see! I believe we played together in a couple of Brian Harvey's games (DMHarv). Good to see you're still at it!
