Chronicles Subscription - don't want item

Hi all -
I have an ongoing Chronicles Subscription, however as I haven't had an Adventure Path subscription in a while (until I just renewed it for King Maker), I do not want the Council of Thieves Map Folio. I was disappointed to see these in the Chronicles area previously, but don't think that I should have to drop my subscription every 5-6 months just to make sure that I'm not blowing $20 on something that I don't use.
I've been unemployed now almost two years - and with my desire to get items that I want with my allowance, I'd really rather not get something I'm not interested in, just because it's part of my subscription.
If I'm not able to remove one item, do I then delete my overall subscription to remove that, but renew it so that I get the NPC Guide?

To answer your question, yes. The only way to skip a particular item in a subscription is to cancel the subscription before the item ships, then re-subscribe after it has shipped (selecting the next item in the subscription as the starting point, of course).

We do not offer the option to opt-out of subscription items, as this is contrary to the whole idea of a subscription. Our subscriptions are at the very core of our business model and they are one of the main things that keep the doors open and allow us to produce the content that we do. We avoid anything that may endanger the integrity of our subscriptions, or may lessen the incentive to subscribe immediately and stay subscribed.

However, we do not prevent you from skipping items in your subscription. If you would like me to cancel your subscription, I will do so.

Thanks,

Cosmo -
Thanks, but if I cancel my subscription because I don't want the Map Folio for Council of Thieves, then I will also miss the NPC Guide.
Or can I cancel, ship what's available now, and then renew in time to get the NPC Guide as well?
My opinion of the Map Folios isn't a real positive one (having the one from Second Darkness which just replicated all the maps that I already had - from the PDF's - as well as from the original source-book).
If I cannot make sure that I also get the NPC Guide then I guess I'll just waste $20 on the Map Folio (I'm sure it's not a waste to many people, but to me without an Adventure Path subscription to utilize it, it is). I just don't think they should be a Chronicle - since they follow the Adventure Path, but alas, I'm not the publisher or in a position to make a change.

It does say that the Map Folio is the next item to ship - but nothing about the NPC Guide. Thus from that, I take it that I can cancel my Chronicles subscription and that should allow my current basket to ship.
Once that is done, I can then re-subscribe to get the NPC Guide (although that also says March).
If the NPC Guide will ship in late March, then I can hold onto that for April along with everything else, as I'd re-apply that subscription.
So, yes, as I understand it, you can cancel the Chronicles subscription, allowing me to miss the Map Folio. That should also allow what I currently have to process and ship. Once that has shipped, I will re-new my Chronicles subscription so that I can get back on board with the NPC Guide.
