Persuasion? As in, without fisticuffs?
1d20+0
Stone stares down the Gammorean gaurds without flinching. Something in his bearing and body language brooked very little argument that he was indeed here for a purpose and could back up his position with strength. The portly guards avert his gaze and step aside to let you pass.

When you enter, you see that the deep storage bay is as run-down as the hallways leading up to it, with entire metal plates missing from the floor and a huge, open exhaust shaft near the back of the room. Large crates litter the area, creating the appearance of a hap-hazard mess, and the air has a distinct smell of sweat and fumes that makes the entire area unpleasant.
Flickering lights provide modest illumination, and a burst pipe along the ceiling leaks blue fluid down one wall. Near the center of the room is an item that seems very out of place — a large, finely crafted desk made of Japor ivorywood, which means that the desk is both priceless and rare.
Sitting peacefully behind the desk is an administrative droid with shiny, ebony coverings that seem to soak up light and offer only the slightest reflection.
The admin droid appears to be the only occupant of the storage bay besides a blue and red astromech droid.
"Come in then," the droid says with a wave of his arm.
The admin droid gestures to the astromech droid, motioning for the small droid to come over. Upon arriving, the admin droid. "Can I offer you anything to drink? I have every sought-after beverage in the galaxy," the droid explains. Bringing out a platter of steaming cups, he continues, "And do make yourselves comfortable. Mr. Stone, Mr. Dashwind, how may I be of assistance?"
Perception rolls for everyone please

Once inside the storage bay, Alistair looks around. He does not use his eyes alone however, but also concentrates for a moment, using the Force to heighten his senses and perceptions. Outward his stance and demeanor do not change as he retains his relaxed posture, a slightly deeper breath the only indication.

Alistair - you are able to make out the silhouette of a bulky Twi'lek behind the admin droid and to your left. Through the use of your force sensing, you note the presence of three other individuals lurky somewhere nearby under the cover of darkness and debris.

Colvin grins, "No drink for me thanks. Are you Switch? I like that handle, it suits you. I don't think we have elected a figurehead yet so I will answer your direct question directly. We are here to pick up a package. Something tells me since you already know us you already know what that package is."

"I am 3d-4y, though I have grown some affection for the name my friends and guests have selected for me, Switch." reveals the admin droid.
"I see many guests daily. Tell me exactly why you are here and we can go from there."
Colvin Dashwind
"I guess being a droid requires precision and detail. OK then, I am here to pick up a package for Maya. Maybe your man back there can grab it from storage and bring it out to us. We would certainly appreciate it." Colvin responds to Switch with his hands sliding down to his sides still open but ready to grab his Blaster in case this routine pick up turns ugly.

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
Scanning the room, Kess feels a bit of a tingle on the nape of her neck. That's odd. I wonder why I'm getting this now. Oh well. Trusting my instincts has gotten me this far. Opening herself to the Force for a moment, Kess presses her senses into her surroundings.

With your use of the force, you sense hidden beings about the room. You see the silhouette of a beefy Twi'lek, behind Switch and to your left. You also notice the two droids - Switch and the astromech.

Switch responds politely to Colvin's query. "Maya, yes. I do believe I am holding a piece of cargo for Maya."
"I have taken pains to ensure the cargo is kept safe, averted from the scrutiny of officials on many fronts."
"For the eminently reasonable sum of 1000 credits, I am willing to release that cargo to you, as her agents, and you may take it wherever you wish."
Colvin Dashwind
"What Allerick meant to say was that 1,000 is an unreasonable position. I am not sure Maya is good for it. Why don't we say 200 credits now and we can negotiate with Maya on your behalf and see what other amount would be resonable, Unless of coure an upgrade interests you", Colvin replies calmly.
I think bargaining is Persuasion, not sure if Deception would be more applicable here, I have +5 to both skills so I will make a roll.

Switch responds brusquely, "Look, Mr Dashwind, I have a certain standing in the business community. Do you know how many people come to this station and find their way into my network? My clients come to expect a certain consistency, a certain logic to my prices. Were I to make exceptions, to give away value without anything in exchange, the entire economic structure of my business would fall apart. Now, I'm sure that someone on this station would be willing to meet my price. I'm confident that someone could be you."

I'd like to make a Mechanics check. Is there anything strange about Switch, any mechanical difficulty I could offer to repair?
Mechanics 1d20+13
Allerick - you can tell through your expertise in the matter, that Switch is a droid who has not had a programming wipe in a considerable time. The characteristics are subtle and anyone who doesn't normally deal with mechanics and droids would never suspect this. However, this is not a flaw and certainly nothing the droid would care to correct.
Kalderaan
If not Allerick's skills for your personal enhancement, is there something else we could do in barter perhaps?
Responding to Stone, Switch replies "I can accept less Mr. Stone, on the condition that you and your friends help me. What I ask is such a small thing. Simply, supply me with information wherever your travels take you. Information of value, of course."
"Agree to this arrangement and I will waive my handling fee and tell you where you can find your cargo."
Kalderaan
Allerick's beady little eyes narrow: "What sort of information are you looking for?"
"Mr. Hosh, you of all people should know all about valuable information. I simply wish you to relay your exploits regarding your journey going forward. This particular cargo and the intrigue around it leads me to believe that it will result in grander intrigue and infomation in the future. I am simply investing in your futures. There is nothing illegal in that." replies Switch.
He then counters with, "You can certainly refuse to do as I ask. However, the cost of that right has a price tag of 1,000 credits."
Tamara Kess
"Better than having to scramble for 1000 credits while we've got people after us, isn't it Allerick? Think of it this way: We can either wait for those idiots to tag us and take us in, or we can get out of here now, play puppet for a while, and scoot our asses out of the fire for a while. Which one would you rather pick?"
Kalderaan
Responding the group decision to agree to the information agreement, Switch begins, "Well put Miss Varik. This is splendid news. Now,” continues Switch. “About this cargo…”
PWEEE! PWEEE! PWEEE The droid is interrupted by the sound of blaster fire and squealing noises coming from outside the door.
Everyone in the room comes alive at the sound. Switch stands up and looks behind him, motioning to someone.
A bulky Twi'lek comes out of the shadows and heads to the door you entered, drawing his blaster as he does so. He makes his way over to the side of the door just as it opens.
A bulky Chevin, flanked by four humans with blasters drawn, strides in, obviously agitated.
“Ganga Lor!” Switch says pleasantly. “How nice of you to drop by!”
The Chevin shouts angrily, “So, you thought you could hide your deal with the offworlders from me, droid? I’m tired of not getting my cut! Turn him into a scrap heap, boys!”
The human thugs turn their blasters on Switch and the companions.
As this would look on a map, you are in the middle. To the North is Switch and the astromech at the desk. To your South is the Twi'lek sent by Switch and the new thugs - right at the door you entered to come in. Currently, there is nothing for cover for anyone, save Switch, who is behind the desk.
Please roll initiative.
