I won't get nekkid until a certain someone let's me know where I stand, 100%. Except to take showers, of course.

The Exchange

Thank all that is Good and Holy, I had ran out of brain bleach.

A new Vespa or are you going for one of the new Electric models?
My friend is rebuilding the 2003 model of this for me. He built it as a 70cc instead of a 50cc, but it's still registered as a 50cc. Sucker is FAST...
I'm ignorant; what's the (max?) speed difference between the 50cc vs 70cc?
the stock 50cc will do about 65. the one my friend is building will do 80. It's faster than some 250cc scooters.

Interesting. How much do these scooters usually run? And do you have to get a motorcycle license if you want to drive one of these on the road?

Get your motor runnin'

Head out on the highway
Lookin' for adventure
And whatever comes our way
Yeah Darlin' go make it happen
Take the world in a love embrace
Fire all of your guns at once
And explode into space

I like smoke and lightning
Heavy metal thunder
Racin' with the wind
And the feelin' that I'm under
Yeah Darlin' go make it happen
Take the world in a love embrace
Fire all of your guns at once
And explode into space

Like a true nature's child
We were born, born to be wild
We can climb so high
I never wanna die

Born to be wild
Born to be wild

OK, I feel better now. No more hate for Jeremy here on account of that image.

With that, g'night fellas.

Liberty's Edge

Jeremy. That image has been banned by The Geneva Conventions. Article 6, Sub=Chapter 8. Please report to The Hague for your trial.

Hmm. 3000 new posts. No thank you. What did I miss?

I'm in Sorrento right now, and it's beautiful. Everything looks right down over the cliffs into the Bay of Naples (full of ridiculously huge yachts), there's flowering gardens everywhere, and the weather is fantastic.

On Friday we went to the Greek temples at Paestum. They're out of the way, and most tourists don't go there. It almost felt like we had the place to ourselves, yet it contains one of the 3 best preserved Greek temples anywhere. Awesome.

Yesterday we want to Herculaneum and Pompeii. We went to Pompeii second, and there were just too many tourists. It was hard to make the city feel alive. But Herculaneum is somewhat better preserved, and less popular (and smaller) - that was an amazing site to see. I figured we would have to see most things from a bit of a distance, but you can actually walk right into most of the buildings, with the mosaic floors beneath your feet and many of the frescoes still intact. I highly recommend Herculaneum in particular to anyone with an interest in ancient Rome.

Hmm. I'm not sure what else I have to report. I hope everyone is doing well!

Took meds, tried to sleep it off, and still nothing. I am very confused. All I want to do is sleep.

Rock a bye baby...on the tree top...when the eind blows...the cradle will rock...

So I went to the ER. 6 vials of blood, a GI Cocktail, and something else I couldn't pronounce later all I know is its not my Gallbladder. Which I suppose is good news.
On the upside, the ER room had a TV in it and I was able to watch the Brady Bunch Movie....as if I weren't in enough pain already. :S

*blink*

Good Sunday morning/evening for our Strine friends.

@Solnes: Hope you feel better. My wife had her gallbladder out, that was a b!@$+. Good news that's not it.

@HD: Keep plugging. You have thicker skin than I my friend.

@CH: I am glad Italy is turning out to be a fun vacay.

Patrick, it's like this: I met someone, for the first time, that engages me on every level. My life situation isn't the most attractive to any woman with half a brain right now, and she has a brain and a half, so, all I can do is work on improving my situation and be as patient as possible. She's well worth every consideration in that.

Move along. Nothing to see here. This is not the drow you've been looking for.

Well, keep plugging. Anything worth having is worth working for. We see the results when things fall into people's laps.

Happy Sunday morn, FAWTLers. It's a great day to be alive! :D

The fact that I got my GameMastery Guide in the mail has nothing to do with this.....okay, well maybe a little

Well, Derek was forced to defend his favorite hangout from an attack by creatures genetically engineered to resemble trolls. Meanwhile, the police were overwhelmed by a rash of nekkid people running around screaming "top of the page". And, on the other side of town, several penguins had....No, wait! That's my soap opera.

I could swear I saw this as a movie. o.O

Time to wake the wife up. She had a rough night last night and I tried to let her sleep as long as I could.

What no vomit guy response for what I posted late last night, I also managed to take one of CJ's precious 9 lives by postine it.

Liberty's Edge

Good morning everybody.

Looks like a nice day outside. Mostly cloudy, not too bright but just the right amount of sunlight. The river is at the right level, and the birds are chirping happy little songs.

Now how do I escape work to go enjoy the day?

ba dum tish

In all seriousness, hope things work out for you soon. Having problems and being unable to know the cause is annoying and troublesome and makes for bad nights.

So they found nothing at all? Arg. Is she feeling any better today?

As always I feel fine in the morning. Just sleepy from lack of sleep. They gave me some meds, I'm not sure if it was just passing time or the meds that made me feel better. They couldn't give me any real pain meds since I drove myself. But they gave me a real mild concoction.

Pretty Sunday morning though. :D

You guys owned and ran a place out here and we had dinner or something. Nothing crazy. And then I woke up in screaming pain.
