linkie?

XXX here!

It boggles my mind that people opposed this for moral reasons. What, did they think that creation of this domain would open the Internet to porn or something???

Meh. There's ways around it with link hijacks, reroutes, and shortened urls.

Unfortunately, it's voluntary. I wish it were enforced. It'd make filtering and parental controls easier.

OTOH you lose a sense of privacy. Catch 22, I suppose.

Privacy? On the Internet? I'm not sure I follow...

Got it. Most excellent, sir!

Your activity can be tracked by cookies and IPs unless you're good at filtering your privacy by anon proxy networks. How do you think Kruelaid slips past the Chinese Imperialists? ;P

EDIT: And their communist gov't are definitely prudes.

Exactly. There isn't any privacy to speak of. Not sure how the ".xxx" domain affects this. But hey, this is getting way too serious for this thread!! :D

Good night, all. I'm off to work on getting our new gaming area set up. We're expanding to six players plus DM for the upcoming Second Darkness campaign and have outgrown the kitchen. The new setup will occupy half the basement. I have about a twenty boxes of books to prune. Oh, the pain! I hate getting rid of books.

Treppa, give your books to Mairkurion. He won't mind at all. :)

I missed the closing of the old thread. I did still get caught up on all the posts there and here. Only 300+...

Hey... I just noticed taig's been twisting his words around to pin this on me!!!

It's true. I find homes for homeless books.

You'd think as fast as Flash is, he'd get caught less often, though.

It's true. Few things love me like books.

...and minis. Don't forget homeless minis.

Question to the old-timers of FaWTL: Can participation be put on a resume as work experience?
Yes it can, and we happen to have an intern posistion available with my administration.

Hey, I seem to recall that I'm in charge of training interns. :D

*hides whip behind back*

Nothing to see here, nothing at all. ;)

Aside from taking excellent dictation, what are the other requirements?
Must survive the intense oral review administered by The First Lady of Lust Solnes... without passing out.

I don't know if that's a requirement or just a perk...;)

Ahhh...memories.

I'm gonna get some sleep now. I didn't sleep too well last night and tomorrow's going to be busy at work. I found out that I will be travelling to Houston for a site install on Monday.

Urizen wrote:

True also.

*Opens false wall panels in Tower suite to show shiny rows of miniatures on glass shelves with recessed lighting.*

How many days are you going to be there? There's a lot of Houston Paizonians you could meet up with for grub and suds.

Goodnight, Moorluck.

No headway on the book situation. Schaum's outlines are so tremendously handy. And this p-chem text is a classic - gotta keep it. How do you give away your first calc book? Ten statement FORTRAN will never die! The pictoral guide to whales... hmmm... what if I need to identify a whale someday? There COULD be one in the Missouri or Mississippi! IT MIGHT HAPPEN!

I swear they *weep* when I try get rid of them! Freight to Texas would be prohibitive. *beats head on wall*

Houston? Have fun in Texas! Go see the Narnia exhibit. And visit Half Price Books. Can't remember the name of the game store that our our Paizans hang out at.

Welcome to Texas Taig. You are going to have great weather in the Houston area next week. Upper 60's - lower 70's and mostly sun. How many days will you be here?
