Busy morning. Probably won't be around much this afternoon, either.

You need more moderators and Cut the number of pages down to 10 per thread, then start new thread plz! Most of the comments are 1 liners and the threads go all over the place I know these forums are young and under funded but 551 pages on one topic is insanity!I wonder what happened to him after he posted this?
I'm pretty sure our collective energy sent him straight to apotheosis. These threads are his temple, but he is a distant deity, apparently. Occasionally, we see avatars of him.
Couple of things I liked about DDO:
* I only played between 5 and 10 hours a week and yet still had a level 16 (the max level back then) character and a bunch of 3rd-10th level characters. For that amount of time spent playing WoW I would barely have 1 maxed level character.
* I solo'd a lot due to timezone differences and yet still managed to get the above mentioned characters.
* I liked the gameplay and interface, which is good because I can be picky about such things (ie. I loved Neverwinter Nights because of the interface, yet hated NWN 2, which was a far superior game, simply because I did not like the new interface).
* It's D&D :)
I kinda wanted to have a posse of folks to play DDO with. But 1. I'm never paying for anything and 2. people would have to be tolerant of my n00bishness.
Yeah, I pretty much remember some of the lines from the 'story' as being more or less direct quotes from the argument. At the very least it's pretty bad form to do that in the Wayfinder.There is a simplistic plot. It does not follow it very well and seems to have been taken from a message board argument that said author lost and was unhappy about.OMG reading Stupid storyI wouldn't call it a story. Stories have, ya know, plots and are designed to entertain and/or edify. This thing is designed for something else entirely.
+1 Very bad form. I expected better from Wayfinder. I was going to look into finding a copy, but after reading this sad excuse of a hit piece masquerading as a fiction story I have lost interest. Lame, lame and a thousand times lame.

Man I'd love to play with you sometime! I'd find the time to play again, if only for a couple of hours here and ther, if I had someone to actually play with. Soloing in OK (I mean I practically levelled my Pally from 9-13 by soloing), but it doesn't beat playing with a good group.
