(My apologies if this specific question has already been asked and answered before - my search-fu did not turn up any precise answers from the designers.)
What happens to the number of spells known when a PF Sorcerer takes levels in a prestige class which allows her to continue advancing her spellcasting abilities? How does that affect the abilities which stem from her bloodline? I'm referring to those prestige classes with tables listing "+1 level of existing arcane class" under the Spells per Day column. For example, a Sorcerer (abyssal bloodline) 6 /Fighter 1 /Eldritch Knight 2.
More specifically, in the above-mentioned example does such a Sorcerer (casting as a Sorcerer 7) have 2 spells known at spell level 3, or does she have 2 plus Rage (the abyssal bloodline's bonus spell for Sorcerer 7)?
As far as I can understand, all the other abyssal bloodline abilities would have been cut off after Sorcerer 6. When at Sorcerer 6 /Fighter 1 /Eldritch Knight 2, such a character would gain neither a bonus abyssal bloodline feat nor an increase to her claw damage (despite casting as a Sorcerer 7).
I understand that the Dragon Disciple prestige class is an anomaly (in that it allows the draconic bloodline Sorcerers to continue accruing their bloodline powers), but what about all the other prestige classes - both 3.5 and PF - which improve a Sorcerer's spellcasting? How do they affect the Sorcerer's number of spells known?

The extra spells known granted from a bloodline would not be added when taking levels in a prestige class.
The extra spells known are a product of the bloodline advancement, not the spells known advancement (which would increase when taking levels in a PRC that increases spellcasting). Since bloodlines don't increase when taking a PRC--unless it specifically says it does as with the Dragon Disciple--the character wouldn't get the extra spells known from the bloodline, since the bloodline abilities aren't granted when taking the PRC levels.
Its one of the benefits of staying in the Sorcerer class, and one of the drawbacks of taking a PRC.
Thus in answer to your specific question, said sorcerer would have 2 third level spells known and would not get the bonus known spell "Rage" from the bloodline.

I understood the same

no. the dragon diciple has his own growth path and the only things that yuu choose from your previous draconic bloodline are the bonus features
but what about all the other prestige classes - both 3.5 and PF - which improve a Sorcerer's spellcasting? How do they affect the Sorcerer's number of spells known?
it should be like your first example your number of spells known and spells per day increase on the basic sorcerer's table (pag 72 and 73 of the pdf manual) but you won't have any bonus from your bloodline (no bonus spells, no bonus feat, ecc.)

I'm not sure I agree here. They are spells known, and they would have been gained if levels in sorcerer were taken.
Seems to me as if that list should be given along with the free choices for spells known.

Hmm.. I was looking this up due to thinking about making a Elemental Fire Sorceress i'm thinking about making her an Elemental Savant... Seems to me that a PrC like Elemental Savant might be a exception like Dragon Disciple, just cause you are doing about the same thing... taking that bloodline and making it transform you. In fact, now that I think about it, when I update it (I even more now think I might make my own updated version) I might just make it require the bloodline like Dragon Disciple does...
It's of course a WotC PrC not updated to Pathfinder, so it would be up to a GM including it how it fits, but.. what do you guys think?

I'd be careful here; if the PrC advances both the spellcasting and the bloodline at full amounts, there is very little incentive to stay in the base class, and it becomes a no brainer choice. Maybe let half level stack for bloodline or something, I don't remember if that PrC got full continued spellcasting.
