I emailed about this yesterday, but did not get a response, and my order disappeared from my order history. I figured I'd double-up just to be safe.
Yesterday, I attempted to place an order and when I tried to checkout, I was taken to a page saying there was a problem with processing my order and to contact customer service. However, the order showed up in my order history, although I never received an email with the details. Today, the order disappeared from my order history, and the items were back in my shopping cart, so I tried to process the order again. Again, it said there was an error, and to contact customer service. This time, the order did not show up in my order history, so I tried it one more time, same error, but now it is again in my order history. I still did not receive an email confirming the order.
Could you make sure the order goes through, as I am attempting to use the holiday10 discount before it expires?

It appears that your order went through successfully, and the two books are currently sitting in your sidecart and waiting to ship out with your next subscription shipment.
I have manually added the holiday discount and it should be applied to the final order, but you'll want to double check this when your subscription shipment order is created and you get your first notice.
